It takes time and effort. I don't have a personal success story...I'm still struggling 2 years later. But I do know people who've done it, so I know it can be done. If you do it the healthy way, the skin will tighten up too...not completely, but it won't be like a roll or anything.
Eat a healthy diet with lots of lean protein (fish and white meat chicken), fruits, and vegetables.
Stay away from soda...drink skim milk with meals and water otherwise.
Walk or jog every day...this is the easiest cardio because you can put your baby in a stroller and go.
Do sit-ups or crunches. An exercise ball and some free weights are a good investment, because you can work your whole body at home without paying for a sitter to go to the gym every day.
Only work your muscles every other day, because when you work a muscle, you are actually tearing it a little, and it needs time to heal before you work it again.
Don't get discouraged. Just keep it up. If you get depressed and miss a day or two, don't give up...just continue on where you left off. And don't forget to change your diet up and allow for some sweets and junk every week or so you don't get burnt out.
Congratulations and Good Luck!

everyone who is saying that you can't loose your baby belly is WRONG!!! I gave birth about 4 months ago..I hit the gym and started watching what I ate, and my baby belly is now completely gone...I actually almost have my 6 pack back!!!
you need to do at least a half an hour of cardio 5 days a week with stregnth training every other day..every day is too much because your muscles need time to heal. I don't know if you're into diets or not, but I'm also on the lean cuisine diet...the only thing I'm eating is those microwavable lean cuisine meals with a snack here or there when I feel the need. (those are great for me since my husband is in Iraq, and I don't have time to cook taking care of the baby alone..just pop em in the microwave and instant healthy meal!!!)
walking is EXCELLENT but just know that it is possible to get back to your prepregnancy body after having a baby an dactually even get a better body (minus the stretch marks, I still havent figured out how to get rid of those yet.) good luck

It's a myth - you never lose the baby belly completely. I was told, it took 9 months/40 weeks to stretch that belly so allow 9 months to a year for it to go down. Good luck!

Think you ought to follow a strict exercise regime. Hope that helps. Also try yoga, it will certainly help you get rid of your baby belly. For yoga first consult your physician and then join some yoga course.

I'm int he same boat only I had my son 7 months ago.
I'm finding it very hard to lose my baby weight all together..
I have just been doing sit ups and pilates.
They seemed to have helped a little.
And i walk everyday.
Also someone told me to 'suck' in your tummy everytime you walk/sit and your body will get used to holding it in.
I'll be sure to come back and see what people have to say.

if its loose skin there is nothing you can do about it, except get surgery to get rid of the flab. If it is actual fat, then you can do push ups, stomach crunches, etc
