It's on the ingredient list of the prenatal vitamin my doc gave me. I am not used to "mcg"...not even sure what that is...so is that enough?

I feel like there is only so much I can do with him! But I feel like he is getting bored!! Besides playing with him myself, sitting in his bouncy and playing on his playmat, I just don't know what to do!! There aren't many toys geared for 3 month olds! Any suggestions??

Sorry to sound so rude or alarmed but i just wanted to say good luck and baby dust to all TTC. I know it can be very depressing and stressful. I am also ttc and my heart goes out to all of you! Im sure some of you noticed that it seems like everyone else is pregnant or there are always pregnant women and babies all around at this time, which makes it more heartbreaking. But it will be ok. That will be us some day!! Lots of love, support and baby dust to all!!! Have a great day!!♥♥♥♥♥

My daughter is 10 weeks old and goes to daycare while I am at school. Which is from about 7:30 when she is dropped off until 3:30 when I pick her up. EVERYDAY when I pick her up she is always on the other side of the room in a crib by herself and she is awake most of the time kinda fussing. When I ask if they have interacted with her at all today they will usually say we only interacted with her when we fed her and changed her diaper and then when she was screaming. It just makes me mad that I pay 9 dollars an hour for lazy daycare workers. I have tried talking to the head person and she said she would do something about it but she never has. I just dont no what to do about them. Should I talk to them more about it or switch daycares? I am only 14 so its not like they will listen to me or anything.

I will be 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have been having contractions and am about 1 1/1 centimeters dialating. I have been having some flu like symptoms like diareha and hot sweats. I also have a UTI and a yeast infection. Anyways When I go to the bathroom I get a sharp pain around my belly button. is that normal? any idea what that is?

Ladies, do you feel as though people don't think as highly of you because you are a stay at home mom? Do you ever run into an old friend and they ask what you are doing nowadays and after you reply, I stay at home and take care of my (insert infant, toddler, etc.. etc...) And then you get that 'Oh......' with the demeaning kind of look... It gets really old, I feel as though our job is one of the most important, regardless of the fact that our salary comes-not in the form of money- but in the form of rewarding smiles, abc's, 123's, and 'Look mommy, I did it!'

It's just how I feel. I love being a sahm, whether people think it to be an upstanding title or not.

What are your feelings, have you ever run into this-dare I say-discriminatory behavior?

Small little things that undermine my rules
like eating whole big bags of chips before sending them home before dinner,
giving them caffeine when I am trying to limit it...
cussing up a storm in front of them,
sending my 11 y/o daughter home with shirts that show her belly thouugh I've told her not to many times,
buying high heels when I've already told her she's not allowed to wear them,
"What Mom doesn't know won't hurt her"
"we won't tell her"

This family member has young ones at home and raises them different than I raise mine - but I let her difference be her choice. (Her 2 y/o has been drinking sodas as her main drink since before she could hold the can or cup.) Why can't she do the same?

Obviously, this question is for parents with more than one child. My husband and I have decided to try for a second child. We have just approached 30 years old and our daughter is now 2 1/2 years old. We have always wanted two children fairly close in age, but now that we've come this far, I'm SCARED. I love my daughter with all of my heart. She is the best thing that's ever happened to me. What happens when she has a sibling? We do talk to her about it and she seems as if she wants to be a big sister. She loves babies and I think that she will want to help out as much as she can. Of course, she will no longer be the center of attention. I am rambling on and on.... I guess I just need some reassurance from someone who has been through this. Were you as scared as I am about it and how did you make things easier?

I got a diaper genie, i've heard that they're a waste of money. I've also heard that they're great. Do they stink? should i upgrade to a genie 2?

I'd like to get a bassinet or a playard made for infants to sleep in ( dont have room for a crib yet) which do you think would be better?

Also, about how long after the baby drops do you go into labor?

What do you remember as the possible early signs of bipolar disorder in your child? Could the diagnoses have been made early in childhood if you had known the warning signs? How old do you think your child was when he/she started experiencing symptoms? Any information from your experiences would be appreciated and helpful.Thank you in advance.

I had only found out that I was fertile after the fact that I had already had sex. I usually use protection on these days. I thought my day was Thursday of this week so I messed it up. I mean it would not bother me or my fiance one way or the other but it would be better if I didn't get caught.

If you do get induced, are you able to move around? Or do you have to sit there like with an epidural? I am a week late on my first due date, and two days late with my second due date, and I am getting the feeling that he doesn't want to come without a medical nudge.. but I really don't want an epidural, I'd love to go as natural as possible. Any other information on ways to get labor started would be nice, too.. :)

For girls we have it narrowed down to three

Avery Veronica
Ainsley Veronica
Addison Veronica

(Veronica is my grandma's name, so if it is a girl that will be her middle name)

for boy's the list is longer and we don't have a middle name picked out yet,(we have kinda been thinking of Ashton, but it isn't decided) but what first name do you prefer

Zander Ashton / Malachi Ashton
Jamison Ashton / Nathaniel Ashton
Andrew Ashton / Seth Ashton
Elijah Ashton / Aaron Ashton
Levi Ashton / Keagen Ashton

our last name is Marlo

Please pick one or two from each...thanks

I've wanted a baby for ages now, I'm 20 and been with my b/f for 3ish years. We do want kids but he keeps sayin 'just not yet'.

However I have such strong broody feelings and he is not helping! He points babies out to me when were out and tiny baby clothes. I'm torn inside by my desire to have a baby now. I know I'm strong enough to wait, but I'd like some suggestions to make it easier or help to persuede him otherwise.

I have two children i am a single mom (22) and i just love my children to death, i love walking in the door after work and hearing "MOMMY" and getting hugs from my two year old. my other is only 2 months, but she just loves to coo...i wake up and look at them sleeping and i cant help but smile, they are they best things that have ever happen to me...i may be young...but i know my priorities and i couldnt imagine how life would be with out them. i guess my favorite thing is just being a parent, and getting hugs and kisses. what do you like the best??
