i got the shot a little under a month ago. & i know the shot is suppose to stop your period for up to 3months. but has anyone else experenced cramping & a little blood (like a period) that lasts about a few hours then goes away, and starts back the next day & keeps coming & going about the same time of the month as your period? i'm just makeing sure this is normal!

I have 3 sons, and a daughter. I let my boys pee outside, becase I think it's fine. I haven't been letting my daughter pee outside, because she's a girl, but when she sees her brothers pee outside, she says she really wants to. She doesn't evenknow how to pee outside. Should I show her, and let her do it anytime she wants? I'm fine if it's for a camping trip, or something, but I don't know if I should let her do it anytime she wants. What do you think?

While I understand that abuse and spanking are two different things, but why are so many so soft on the spanking issue, maybe I am naive, and maybe its cuz I never hit my children. (I have three, 25,23, and 10) I just dont understand the message behind hitting, then the kid gets in trouble for hitting, then you are a hypocrite. I just know from being a mom now for over 25 years, that there are many ways to punish a child besides hitting them. (no I will not refer to it as spanking in my eyes it is hitting plain and simple). How would you feel if you boss hit you when you did bad at work? or if your spouse hit you when you were bad? or a cop for that matter? you wouldnt stand for it, cuz its not right, so why is it right to hit a small child when they do bad? explain to me please?

i will be officially due this friday, and at my last appointment i had absolutely no progress. i haven't felt much different this week than last, so i believe i still have not made any. if i go in on wednesday and i still have made no progress, will i get an ultrasound or anything? i am miserable and it hurts just to walk. i am hoping for an induction at this point, but if i have made no progress, they can't even do that, can they? i know everyone is going to say "you're not even past your due date" and "you just have to wait"...i don't want those answers...i just want to know what everyone else has experienced as far as being 40 weeks with no progress. like, what the doc said and what happened afterwards, etc. thanks!!!

My baby just started eating solid foods which makes me just a little nervous and unsure on what is safe to feed her. I would like to be able to give her a variety. I also want her to develop healthy eating habits so what i feed her i want it to be healthy. So i guess my question is, any ideas on safe healthy foods i can feed her?

I am 15 weeks pregnant with first baby at age 37, I am 100 lbs 5 feet
I have had shortness of breath here and there during pregnancy, but it goes away with rest. Nausea is common, but no vomit, until today...
Last night when I went to bed wasn't able to breath easily and I felt chest pressure, like someone was pressing their fist against my chest. I sat down for 20 minutes, it became better I was able to lay down.
This morning around 10, I started with the pressure and difficulty breathing again, after a few minutes became worse and, suddenly, I had to run the bathroom and I vomited for the first time in this pregnancy, after that I felt better, but Is it normal to have chest pressure?

last week i found out i was pregnant, i took 3 pregnancy test and they all came out positve. if i conceived my baby it would have been around the 17 of august but my docter told me it starts from the 1st day of your last period. so im going to be 6 weeks on friday. so does this mean that the pictures and information on how big and how my baby is growing.. is that really the info for 5 weeks???? its hard to explain i just thought that i would be almost 4. and i read at 5 weeks my baby is as big as an apple seed, but thats for week 5 so eiather way my baby is the size week 5 says? sorry its so confusing!! and is it safe to have sex when ur young in pregnancy....... please help!!

Ok, so my nephew just turned 4 the other day. My sister is concerned about him. He has (as long as I can remember) been into girl things. Likes to play house and be the mommy or the daughter, he doesn't want to be like superhero's he always insists on being like wonder woman or something. Always pretending to be girl TV characters. He had a little friend (a girl) that he said he liked because they could play dress up and make over games together. His favorite color is pink; as a matter of fact he got a pink soccer ball for his birthday and said it was his favorite gift, which was done in a HS musical theme because he likes Sharpay.

But after all this he is BOY, BOY, BOY. He likes to play in the mud, wrestle, run, play sports. I tell my sister that it is just a phase, but she thinks it’s just too much and doesn't know if she should try to put an end to it or just let it go. Sooooo, what do you think? I really want to give her some more advice, but I am out....

I have a 2 year old daughter and me and my husband want another child maybe next year. The thing is I feel as though I hold my daughter back sometimes. Like we never take her food shopping as we do a monthly shop taking up to 2 hours, I rarely take her to town just because I don't need to go. We do go to the park a few times a week and to feed the ducks and she's very happy when we're out. I think if I cant cope with her how am I going to cope with another child? My husband, his parents and my parents all say I'm a good mum but I feel as though I'm holding her back. I think my problem is mentally.

Sorry if you don't understand what I'm trying to say, it's difficult to express what I'm feeling in my head. I'm 24

Like 15 min. after i fed her i went to change her diaper and while i was in the middle of putting her clean diaper on she threw up just a little but then she threw up again alot then again and it was even more. she has no fever or anything what is wrong? what should i do?

Im having twin girls, which makes my number up to 5 ids (I know, what a handful!) My other daughters names are:
Ryliee (ri-lee)
Emerley (emily)
Jessii (like jessy but spelt like that)

I like unusal names, so something fresh and unique would do perfectly! So yeh, two girls names please. Our sir name is Neilson by the way.

I am 28 weeks pregnant with baby #2. So far the pregnancy has been uneventful, but over the last 3 weeks, I've been having a really difficult time - head aches and crippling back pain that is relieved only when I lie down in a particular position. My commute to work is over an hour on a crowded subway, which has lately become completely impossible. I am wondering whether this is something that I should bring up to my doctor? Does this warrant bed rest or early leave/disability, or are these just common pregnancy symptoms and I should deal? (By the way, I didn't have any such problems with my first pregnancy two years ago). Thanks!

I have a 6 year old who is in school and I'm running out of ideas of stuff to put in her lunch. We don't give chips and stuff like that in lunches. I'm looking for some somewhat healthy things to put in her lunch. What do you put in your kid's lunch? Also, do you think that if I put a yogurt in her lunch with an ice pack would it stay good?

One more thing, I'm also always running out of ideas of stuff to pack in my husband's lunch. Besides leftovers, what do you pack in your husband's lunch?
