My baby's face and arms are of wheatish complexion but the thighs and legs are a bit discoloured - darker than her face and arms. Is there any way that I could do something about this.. Any oil or home remedy while giving a bath..

It sounds like a circulation issue or even an allergy issue. See if she has been bitten buy anything in the areas of discoloration if not call your pediatrician. There is no such thing as an overprotective mom..........

Has a Vet diagnosed that it is Parvo Virus or are you just assuming it is? If the dog is vomiting and this is accompanied by foul smelling diarrhoea then, yes, there is a strong possibility it is Parvo and you need to get him to a Vet immediately if you want to save his life. By all means don't allow him to become dehydrated until you can get him to a Vet but this could be serious and you need to act now. This could also be caused by something he has eaten but you still need to see a Vet to rule out any underlying cause. It's no use giving him home remedies if you don't know the cause. I hope he recovers well. Good luck.

I think that's due to circulation, but perhaps you should talk to her doctor, if you haven't already.
I would suggest infant massage to increase her circulation .. but getting her to sit still long enough might be a challange at 8 months.

does it feel cold or warmer than the rest of her? Also you can try giving her a massage where it is discolored, it might help with the circulation. The clothes she was wearing didn't have any dye in it that could have gotten wet and discolored her legs?

I know if i fed my kids to many orange fruits and vegetables their skin would change colors, slightly.

Maybe more floor time, so baby can move more, see if color changes with blood flow?

Talk to your baby's doctor

Best of luck to you

the color of your baby's legs and thighs is probably your baby's natural color. As your baby gets older her face and arms will turn that color as well.

Have you talked to the doctor yet? Is it possible it could be a birth mark?

Hasn't the pediatrician investigated this and answered? If not, you could be held for child neglect-- and should be! Why ask the quirky minds of those of us on Answers. Just do it! See the doc.

maybe poor circulation. What has the Dr. said? That is where you should be directing this question not Yahoo.
