Mine was when once I bunked class and my teacher told my mom.After getting five swats from the paddle I found myself on my mothers lap bare butt getting a 5minute spanking by the timer.At night mom made me sit on the toilet seat with soap in my mouth for a long time......this was the worst punishment of my life!!!!(I got spanked 5 mins daily along with the soap routine for a whole week!!!)What was yours??Do you think it was worse than mines???

its my sons first birthday on sunday and we have arranged a massive party for him theres about 70 ppl coming it should be good i know we have gone to far but it only happens once

my dad is anti everything.ive just started sending my son to playgroup.he does cry but i think he needs to get used to going to school.my dad is angry and accusing me of wanting to get rid of him.and he says all the carers are wierdos.im still going to send him i just wanted to know if there is anyone else like him in the world.

I may possibly have PCOS ill find out hopefully thursday when i go in. I'm guessing a simple blood test will be able to dertmine this or not. but i heard doctors prescribe birth control for PCOS. why? my period are normal for the most part but do you absolutly have to take birth control when you have PCOS?


also one more question do they do a surgery for PCOS? is it a one day thing you leave the same day its performed or...??

Ok I had my period on 1st July and I had sex on 4 & 6 and on 27th I had my period again?
but it was not much and lasted on three days and I had sex on 4 again. Now when I went to do scan yesterday the doctor told me am 8 weeks 4days pregnant.and is + 7 - 7. I was to know whether I become pregnant on July or August, please explain

My newborn (5 weeks old) seems to always need to poo and he seems to have a lot of trouble with the pains before hand. He often strains and brings his legs up etc and is unsettled hours before a poo actually comes out and when it does, it is explosive most of the time. He is fully breastfed and I was wondering if it could be something I am eating? What foods and drinks should I avoid? The only foods that I eat every single day are apples, bananas and porriage. Otherwise, it's all varied. I think he has alot of wind, particulary in the afternoons.

Just curious...I know my parents never tried anything and all my siblings are smart. Now my friend whose dad was a hippie, well hes not too bright. And other adults I know who were big partiers now have children who aren't too booksmart. Do you think that smart peole stay away from drugs in general and procede to have smart children? Or are children born dumb becasue mom and dad smoked too much pot?

Hey everyone,

I've been breastfeeding my daughter for 15 months now and my mom told me I should quit. She love to eat so she not hungry but still wants me to breastfeed her. She can't fall asleep with out me feeding her. I didn't think there is much to help her grow. And my hair is still falling out! I lose about 1/3-1/2 of my hair already. Please is there any tips to quit? And is my hair ever going to grow back and when?

My friends and i have been chatting and have all found that maternity clothes are so expensive for the amount of time you where them for. Where have you got your maternity clothes from and have you been happy to pay the full (expensive) prices for them?? or is there another option??

I just gave birth to my second child 5 and a half months ago. I got the IUD (a month later) because it was the most effective form of birth control. I did NOT want any more children, and still dont.

I had my last period on August 20th. But now I am having all these pregnancy symptoms!!! Nausea w/o vomiting (although its not constant like it was with my other pregnancies). Diarrhea, I spotted a few days ago, and here's the scary one. Im lactating!!! I had to squeeze REALLY hard to get anything to come out, but, it eventually did.

Im freakin out here cus I had first two VERY close together, which means I am very fertile. Does being very fertile throw off the effectiveness of the IUD? And yes I know...go get a pregnancy test....I am doing that tomorrow, its 2 am here so I cant get one now. I would just like to hear of any knowledge one might have about this, and if im not pregnant, is there any reason for lactation?

My son has just started high school this year (grade 9 - 14 yrs old) We have a pretty good line of communication but I am looking for suggestions on how I can make sure he goes down the right path, stays in school and keeps out of trouble without invading his space too much and being that really over protective mom (which I am) I don't allow him to do much because I am a younger mom, very aware of whats out there and am so afraid of him making a huge mistake with drugs and alcohol. I want to be a good parent but am finding it very hard to trust his instincts. Suggestions are greatly needed.

Okay I started spotting on August 16th (early evening) and then started bleeding heavy on August 17th - so which day do I start counting my period from (was actually a miscarriage, but doctor told me my body would consider it a menses and I would ovulate about 2 weeks after).....

So according to my doctor I would most likely ovulate either on the 30th or 31st of August....so my question is - would it be too soon to take a pregnancy test seeing it's September 14th? - would be about 2 weeks past ovulation...test now or wait??....

My husband and I have been foster parents for many years now, but we have just recently moved back to Portland, where his family and mine live.
Anyway, my family are constantly going on about the way we have taken in 'someone elses child', and they are starting to intefere big time in our disciplining of them. When I asked my SIL recently to let me handle my children, she informed me "they're not really yours, they're someone elses".
Do I explain yet again that while we parent these children, WE are the parents, or should I just ignore it and start restricting the access my family has to our children?
Other suggestions are also welcome!
