I had sex when I was ovulating

There's always a chance of pregnancy when you have unprotected sex...ESPECIALLY while ovulating. But, on the other hand, my ex and I had unprotected sex for about a year, a couple of times a week and I never became pregnant (although now I'm thinking there was something wrong with him!). With my now husband, I think we only had unprotected sex for about 3 or 4 months before I found out I was pregnant. So it all depends...but as you know, it only takes one time to get you pregnant. If you're trying to have a baby, then good luck! If not, then maybe you should start using protection!

Why take the risk of unprotected sex even if the chance is slim at all? If you're not ready to be pregnant, use protection. It's not that hard. The chance is there, and that's what matters. There's no exact statistic/probability, no matter how long you have unprotected sex, it's random. Is that a roll of the dice you are willing to take? A whole 'nother point to be made is STDs. Definitely a situation where 'better safe than sorry' applies.

Actually getting pregnant is all about timing, you can actually decrease your chances of getting pregnant by having too much sex. At some times of the months, it is a wee bit better to abstain from sex for a little bit before ovulation, but you gotta know when your body is ovulating.

Yes if the sperm managed to get to the egg and No if the timing is not right, low count of eggs and sperm, etc. Irregardless of whether get pregnant or not, you and your partner should take responsible for your action if you wanted unprotected sex.

Awwwwww Sweetie,

Even one time unprotected, let alone a month, means you can become pregnant. Did you miss the high school class on that?

only if sperm got to the egg around the time it was released (ovulation). anytime other than ovulation is useless for falling pregnant as there is no egg to fertilize, but its still fun!
