Hello there...
Your choice for her first name is very nice although I'm not sure of the way you have chosen to spell it with 2 capitals like that?
It may cause her a bit of trouble having to explain the spelling down the road...
I always had to explain my name and pronounciation throughout my life and it was a
pain! However it's not my call Gable :)
The second name is cute and I think it flows quite nicely with the first, of course we tend to pronounce things a tad different up north here and being crossed with a French and an Austrian background aswell....
lets see if I've got your intension correct ( lash -eye ?) is the way I would perceive the 2nd name.
Sounds sort of Philippino. I have a lot of friends over that way and thats how we would say that name, or did you intend (lash -aye)?
Actually either way sounds rather nice and an interesting combo..I think.
I like to be different aswell.
Anything with Kay in it is very popular today and lots of people argue it's overused, but hey...your babe!
How does it all fit with the last name?
Hope I didn't confuz ya! :)

I absolutely love the name KayLynn just not spelled like this. My favorite spelling variation of the name is with a "C", Cailyn. However, I do like the look of Kaylynn or maybe the same thing with an "E" at the end.
Lashai, much like KayLynn I've never seen this name spelled like this. I personally do not like the sound of the name but it does go with Kaylynn. What about the names Lashelle, Lorrelle, Lorriel, or Lorraine?
Props on the first name and Good Luck.

KayLynn is a pretty name. I prefer it spelled Kaylin or Kaelyn. I don't like Lashai at all.

Kaylynn is fine for me, but Lashai? Sorry to say it's not in my dictionary.

Yuck - sorry. All variations of Kaylynn and Kaitlynn are extremely overused. And I don't care for Lashai either.
I like your boy name though.

I think it sounds like a little girl in a small town in Arkansas. Did I get it right? Are you from the South?
I can't pronounce Lashai. You made it up, right?
to kahlznlola - aren't you the one that wanted to do "Skylah" to your child? All of a sudden you found rationality, huh? Good for you.

Currently all forms of Caitlynn, Kaylee, etc. are being really overused right now, and in 10 years, she'll be coming home from school with 5 friends with all the same name.
Also agree with above comment about the unnessicary capitalization. Parents want to give their kid a unique, new name, but kids are happier when they can fit in better, not having to constantly spell their name (I also had to deal with that, ugh.)

i think its really stupid to spell it like that with the two capital letters and without a hyphen or space. the poor child will forever be correcting it. No... its Kay... one word...then no space... Capital letter... Lynn
Don't do that to your child. Kaylynn is a nice name just not the ridiculous way u have spelt it. Think of the kid who has to grow up with it. Trust me I know because my Mum named me Kahli just like the old fashioned Carly. Not a day goes by when I don't have to spell it Im now 23 and it annoys the hell out of me. Exoctic spellings can be nice but in reality, you are not the one who has to constantly explain how your name is spelt (and pronounced)
