My daughter is in the second grade and please don't flame me for saying this, but I am SICK AND TIRED of her school ALWAYS sending home notes that they want parents to give money for this, that,or the other. The other day she brought home a paper that the school wants new mats for their gym walls, and the school was asking parents for donations of $25.00 or more.
Now,I don't know about anyone else, but we live on a very tight budget and we can't give money constantly to every little thing because we do have bills to pay like everybody else. It wasn't enough that we had the school supply list from you-know-where,and now they are asking EVERY WEEK for money for something else?
I don't mind sending money for field trips or something like that, but when did all of us parents become a bank? We don't have any family to help us out with anything,so we live on a very tight budget like alot of other families do. How do you feel about this, please share your thoughts and feelings about this!
