Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 September 2007

My husband and i have been talking names already and will probably change our mind about a million times before our baby comes but at the moment we like these names but need middle names that go well with them.... he/she is due in April, we live in Australia.
We don't really want opinions on the first names we have already choosen just middle name suggestions thanks.

Our surname is Almeida (al-may-da)

Alot of you say that i should brest feed? well i want to know if i do will my boobs go back to the way there were before i got preg?or will they be saggy? lol idk how to put that.and i hear it hurts alot idk if i want to or not? and i wont be with him all the time casue i will be wroking so how many bottles can you get before you have to go can you only get 1 or 2 and hr? idk?now rude comments plz.

My son turned 2 at the end of April, he has had a hispanic babysitter who speaks primarily spanish since he was 3 months old. I was initially concerned about his language skills and everyone assured me that he would just be bilingual. As of right now he only says a handful of words...at least in english. I have spoke nothing but english to him at home and I work with him nightly but still he really doesn't talk. Should I be concerned or is it just one of those situations where it will all just fall into place? His babysitter said that he speaks a lot of spanish so I know he has the capacity for language...but how do I encourage him to speak his native language? I might add also I wouldn't trade his sitter for anything she is a wonderful lady and treats him as if he were her grandson. Oh and also I know he understands english perfectly. I know I'm rambling but it is late and I'm trying not to forget anything :o) HELP

Hubby and I have been married for 5 years. We began having problems, a lot of fighting, little progress. We even tried to go on a vacation to reconnect, but we just didn't work out. Despite the divorce and the problems, I will probably always love him, because he's a really decent person, always has been.

I'm moving out-of-state for my job. This whole thing had me sick, but I found out that it wasn't stress, and that I'd gotten pregnant on our vacation 3 months ago. My husband found out that I hadn't been feeling well (doesn't know about the baby) through a co-worker of mine and has been leaving me messages that he's just checking on me and to feel better.

We're getting along better since we began proceedings, and I don't want to disrupt that. I don't know what or when to tell my husband about the baby, or if I even should at all. I don't want to complicate this already complicated situation.

The situation is affecting my work, my health, and my sanity. Help!

Is it normal to want a baby so desperatley after having miscarried at 5 months? It was a year ago, but all I want is a baby. I see people I work with having kids when they're not married and it kind of upsets me because I am married. Am I wrong for feeling like this? Sometimes I feel like it controls my life. I never got to have a normal, full term pregnancy and I yearn to have that experience. Can anyone tell me if I'm wrong for feeling like this?

Ive just found out im pregnant at last. Where i work can be quite heavy work sometimes so im going to need to tell my team leader but i dont want to tell anyone else. My Mom is 65 and I would like them to walk to her house instead of paying a babysitter. I feel like the babysitter uses my kids to take care of the younger ones and it bothers me to pay her when my kids do a lot for her. I have used her services since they were babies, so I am torn on what to do.

I took a urine pregnancy test and got a positive 2 times so I decided to take a blood test and got a call saying I "MIGHT" be pregnant. She said my HCG level was 14 but it's too soon to tell to wait 10 more days. Well the waiting game is killing me. Today I was supposed to get my period and I didn't get it, no signs of it but I do have cramps. My OBGYN said he saw water in my uterus just 3 days ago. I have been trying for 6 years and I'm very excited but at the same time I might get a NO. What are my chances? Do I have to wait that long?

The last time I went to the doctor, he said I would be seeing a slight decrease because the baby's room is not as big as it used to be. But right now, and all day, I've felt him here and there..No kicks..Sometimes a little movement like he's turning. but nothing big at all. I hate to be the woman calling the doctors office 1000x but I do want to be sure this is not a cause for alarm. Any suggestions before I call?

Oh I did a kick count and laid there for about 45 minutes and felt 3 distinctive moves.

I have a lot of back problems so i go to the chiropractor 2-3 times weekly. Part of it is i lay on my tummy so he can adjust my back. I am about a month and 1/2 now so how long until I cant lay on my tummy anymore??

I was on the computer the other day just playing online and my son was laying in my bed playing game boy.All a sudden my son tells me he doesnt want to get older because he doesnt want to die.I got up and went to lay by him and talk to see what was bothering him.He said he was thinking about his gp which was my dad that passed away a few months ago.I told him that you dont die and that you live even after death with jesus and I said gp isnt dead either,and he said he aint?I told him gp is in your heart and your mind and pointed at them.I asked him if he remebered gp and he said yes,and I said see he still lives in your memories.He then made the comment that jesus could make him live again if he wanted.My son has said this a few times and I dont know how to answer that one either.Did I explain it alright to him?

I co run a child care. We have children from all kind of backgrounds and cultures. We invite their parents to come talk to the kids about thier culture and even bring foods or items to show the kids. we have asked all parents if they are ok with this and every single one has said yes and that they think its great that the kids are learning about other people and how they live. Well we had our yearly visit from the state. It happens that day we had a parent from Norway come visit the kids and was doing a craft with them. The lady from DHS took me aside and told me i was NOT to do that anymore and that i was to take down the posters that show people from other countries. I told her that the parents really liked what we where doing. She did not care. Do you agree with this or not? thanks!

My son was born today and he doesnt have a name yet.
Everyone likes something different. My wife likes William Luke (Liam) and I like Logan Cole. My son is calling him Will and my daughter is calling him Sam (Samuel Luke). I have talked to my mom who likes William Luke because it honors both of our families and William Michael. My father in law (who we originally were going to name him after) likes Lucas Cole.
