* Insulin resistance and possibly diabetes
* Thinning of scalp hair

* High blood pressure
* Polycystic ovaries that are 2-5 times larger than healthy ovaries.
* Multiple hormone imbalances, commonly including:
o Androgens (testosterone)

If you go to your gyno. They will do blood work to test your hormone levels. thats how I found out I have Pcos. You could have symptoms too. Such as abnormal hair growth, and irregular periods. Just type in PCOS in your search engine and read about it. If you feel that you may have it then make an appointment with your doctor. They will know how to help you. Just make sure that you tell them that you think you may have it! Good luck!

You go to your gynocologist and they do a number of simple tests and can tell you if you have PCOS or not.

you can go to the gyno, let him run some blood test, or you can have a transvirgnal ultrasound, thats how I find out I had it, he took a look at my ovaries and notice that I had small cycts on both of them,

The best thing you can do is go to your doctor and they will run a bunch of exams on you and will be able to determine if you do in fact have PCOS.
