My nephew's name is Joel and I've always thought that was a cool name. It's unique without being weird. If you're looking for an Italian name, I'd avoid Mario and Luigi for obvious reasons. I once knew a guy named Enzo and I always thought that was an interesting Italian name.

Choose an Egyptian or an Italian name! Or honour your family by naming him after a grandparent.

Please don't choose a name just because its "cute", he won't be a baby for long and he will have to live with that name as a 50 year old businessman!

He'll only be a baby boy for a very short time, chose a name that will be possible to live with as an adult which has a contraction that can be used as a child's name, e.g. : Samuel, sammy; James, jimmy.
Your child may not appreciate being labelled by your heritage.
