My son sometimes since he was a baby just is sitting there acting fine and then out of nowhere his tummy hurts and then he's on the way to the bathroom to throw up (if he makes it that is). Then immediately after , he's fine . He doesnt even act sick. I try to ask him what he ate earlier and it's never consistent with the same things. He doesnt eat too much and is not a big junk food eater at all. If anything, he loves spinich and broccoli believe it or not.
Anyway have a kid like that or have any suggestions?

I have a kid EXACTLY like that, except that he's eight. Right down to liking broccoli and spinach.
I've given up on finding an answer (so shall be watching yours with interest :) ). He's been a sicky child from day one.

I got acid reflux when I was 12. I missed 22 school days that year, but right after I got sick, I was fine every time. You just have to make sure he doesn't eat foods that are to acidic. Give him half of a Zantac 75 (or the generic version, only 1/2 because of his age), and change his diet up a little bit. If he eats alot of tomato products; chocolate foods; or mint things; then I would say try and steer him away from those. If the family is having spaghetti, then give him butter or alfredo instead of tomato sauce. If he wants ice cream for dessert- give him anything other than chocolate or mint. Also steer away from orange juice- give him apple instead. I had to go through the same thing. I really hope this helps!

My 7 year old son also does this, but it's because he sees something that grosses him out or smells something he doesn't like. (Smells strange foods, sees his brothers chewing with their mouth open, even seeing "gross" crumbs). I mainly just keep him away from things I know will bother him.
His doctor sounds just like your son's doctor. He thinks it's because he has a sensitive gag reflex, and will outgrow it. You might want to have him checked for food allergies, though.

He could be lactose intolerent. My nephew was doing the same thing and they finally figured out that if he took Lactaid before having dairy products, the problem was solved.

Reflux maybe? I honestly don't know. You should get him checked out by a doctor that really knows what he's doing with kids.
Good luck.
