ALEXIS OR ALEXIA? I like Alexia myself...If I have a girl I'm not going to use Alexandra or Alexandria so you guys don't have to bother to mention those =] Thanks so much! Also if you could have any other name in the world what would it be (serious answers lol) or what is your favorite name (girl names)?

I like Alexis. I would like Eden Noelle for myself. Some of my favorite girl names: Eden Noelle, Alejandra (pronounced Ah lay hon dra) Jolene (pronounced Joe lene), Ahnya (pronounced ah n ya) Nicollette, Lydia Jonae (prounounced Jon nae), Abitha (pronounced Abby tha) Rochelle (pronounced Roe shell), and (this would be the phoenetic spelling of it) Daynodda (Danada means "your welcome" in Spanish. I like the sound of it)! Raylene

Neither is exactly my style, but I'd definitely have to go with Alexis here.
Alexia is a disorder usually caused by brain damage or injury and accompanied by the loss of reading ability. Please don't take my word for it ... just check out the links below!
So honestly, I could name my child that any more than I could Dyslexia, Anemia or Eczema. It doesn't matter how "pretty" someone might think it sounds. It's an acquired mental disorder! Alexis it is. LOL

Ive always liked Alexis however since i have been hearing other versions i am starting to become more fond of Alexa...no "i" as it becomes a bit of a mouthful in my opinion however i do prefer Alexia over Alexis these days.

Alexia *is* a medical condition! It's a brain disorder that impairs reading comprehension. But there are also princesses and singers with the name, and it sounds very pretty.
Despite my misgivings that it has some clinical connotations, Alexia sounds fresher than Alexis, which just reminds me of Dynasty.

Alexia reminds me too much of dyslexia. No offense. My cousin has a daughter named Alexa, Lexi for short, and I think it sounds a bit better if you don't mind me saying so. If you don't like Alexa, I would choose Alexis instead.

I would say Alexia. There are just way too many Alexis's! If I ever have another baby girl, I would consider the names, Makenna, Nayah and Amaris. I love all of those names so much that it makes me want triplet girls. (Just kidding) =)
