He grunts when he is eating like he is starving and even when he is not eating , he is grunting and kicking and waving his arms around. Also sometimes he just screams like he's in pain while i feed him or lay him down sometimes. It drives me crazy especially since i just started back to work and he does this through the night too.

hes fine..he just grunts because he feels gas and thinks he has to go poo...you may want to check if he has a cold or allergies and god forbid asma...his nose may be stopped up reason he gets irritated when eating and stops sucking the bottle...you had a little cold with stuffy nose when you were his age they gave me some infant nose drops

Oh honey...Your baby is showing the signs of acid reflux. You need to get him to a doctor asap and let them know what is going on. My nephew has been going through the same thing since birth. It is a horrible horrible thing. I am not a doctor so I am not going to make any suggestions but that sounds like reflux to me. If you keep him elevated does it make it better? The grunting is probably him trying to keeep the fluid down. I feel sorry for him and you becasue I know what its like. My nephew has been on all kinds of medicines and milk and still suffers. It is sad but maybe the doctors can help you find something that works.
Just be patient with him because he IS in pain.
What also helped was putting him in his carseat to sleep so the acid would stay down.

Are you holding the baby long enough after he/she eats? You must tap the baby on the back for about 15 minutes and hold him/her until the "gas" is dispelled. Also, you must ask the doctor in which manner you should lay the baby down for his naptime. This is a matter that your pediatrician should diagnose. Do not attempt to figure out everything for yourself. You should not rely on us "laypeople" to know about very serious things concerning your newborn. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

It's simple! He grunts, waves arms, and screams because..

...HE CAN'T TALK!

He is communicating with you-you'll learn his language before he learns ours!
