Question

Ok I had my period on 1st July and I had sex on 4 & 6 and on 27th I had my period again?
but it was not much and lasted on three days and I had sex on 4 again. Now when I went to do scan yesterday the doctor told me am 8 weeks 4days pregnant.and is + 7 - 7. I was to know whether I become pregnant on July or August, please explain

If you are 8wks and 4 days that puts due date at 21 april 2008 and last menstrual period should have been around 16th July, which means you would have conceived around the 31st July. I think your dates are really off.

I would go by whatever the ultrasound said as it seems to be the most acurate. If you conceived after the 1st july period you should be 10wks 5 days and if you fell pregnant after july 27th you would only be 7wks. I would be inclined to think it would only be 7wks rather than 10wks as the ultrasound would of picked up the 3wk difference at this early stage.

I would definately be inclined to think the 7wks is more accurate since you did have a period and sex around the right time to fall pregnant, but if the ultrasound says 8wks 4days just go by that as the earlier the ultrasound the more accurate they are.
