new look stock a maternity section and its fab they also stock a brand called blooming marvelous !! i got some great jeans for a tenner and the t'shirts are cheap aswell ...plus theyre still fashionable they have gorgeous dressy outfits too like fancy tops and dresses if you was going somewhere special also dorothy perkins have some nice things for all occasions ie casual dressy proffesional etc at normal prices you find on the high street
i would not however try getting away with just buying bigger sizes they are not designed to fit a pregnant woman and can cause discomfort ... i tried this with a pair of jeans i got a size 14 as im normally a size 8-10 but they didnt fit correctly on my bum and legs only stretched round my belly and they looked awful lol maternity clothers are best and a recent study also showed that wearing none maternity trousers can cause discomfort for babba !!
i would try new look buy a few pairs of theyre jeans and a few pretty t'shirts and dresses you can mix and match and look fab !! they also have a great work section of you have a job where you have to where smart clothes each day
hope thats helped
xxxx

I'm really most happy with the maternity clothes I got from Target. They are extremely cute and very reasonably priced! Also the clothes I got from Kohls were great too...they almost always have sales!!! I actually wouldn't recommend Motherhood Maternity. While they do have very cute clothes, I I bought two pairs of shorts there...within a month the one pair ripped in the crotch area when I bent down and the other pair, all of the buttons came off of the pockets! So for quality for your money, I would actually recommend Target.

I thought Motherhood Maternity was reasonable. I was so excited to be buying maternity clothes, I really didn't consider cost much. So, yes, I was perfectly happy paying full price. Another option would be wearing normal clothes in bigger sizes. Either way, you probably won't be able to wear the clothes you buy for your pregnancy afterwards.

I bought second-hand maternity clothes. Looked for sales at Sears, Mervyns, Target, Motherhood Maternity, WalMart, and Old Navy. I saved all of my old maternity clothes from my last pregnancy and plan to wear all of them this time. My mom also got me plus size tops that were really cute and on sale at Macy's (really cheap too). I got my bras at Motherhood too. Look around for bargains. I also wore some of my husbands shirts and mix and matched a lot so I might be wearing the same pants three days in a week (washed in between wearings of course) but with a different top and shoes and accessories, no one ever seemed to notice. I might ask some friends for their maternity clothes if they want to share but I didn't want to share mine with some people who I knew weren't as clean as I am since I knew I was planning for a baby. Good luck!

I refused to spend $$ on maternity clothes...sadly I had just dropped $200 on the best pair of jeans when I got pregnant.. I'll be wearing em someday!
Anyhow, I went to oldnavy & motherhood- they had some great basics-really reasonable prices-My maternity bras were $11 each at motherhood...I got some great basic black tops at old navy for about $15.....I certainly dont have as much diversity in my maternity wardrobe as I do with my regular wardrobe, but I make up for it in shopping for baby clothes...that is way more fun than having to buy another pair of 'gigantic' pants :o)

If you have a friend or relative that has old maternity clothes you can just borrow their stuff. When I was pregnant, I bought one piece of maternity clothing and it was a dress shirt because I needed something nice to wear to my sisters college graduation. I HATED maternity pants so I just wore my stretchy dress pants for the graduation and wore my regular jeans below my belly for regular days. My favorite maternity clothes were actually my fiances shirts to tell the truth. I didnt see the point in buying a whole new wardrobe just to wear it for a few months. I would definitely borrow clothes or go to a thrift store or something unless you need something that you cant find in a thrift store.

Oh no.... I got all mine at this awesome 2nd hand store. They had the cutest pants and shirts for just 3 or 4 bucks. The only time I went to the mall maternity store was when my friend gave me a gift card for my birthday. But, other than that, I got all mine from the 2nd hand shop. And, after I had my baby, I just took them all back and got credit for baby clothes and toys! :0)

I think maternity clothes are way over priced. You are only wearing them transitionally. I got all my maternity clothes at a second hand store. You can find some really nice stuff with a reasonable price.

Target and Kmart have awesome pregnant ranges of comfy clothes but not exactly going out clothes. They are expensive in stores that sell that sort of thing, but if you just buy bigger girl shirts etc from the cheaper places they'll do just as well. My husband has a christmas party for his work when I will be six months pregnant and I keep wondering what I'm going to wear too! Good luck.
