I browsed the adoption site and noticed many groups of 5-6 siblings waiting to be adopted. Do the parents die or suddenly decide they don't like their 6 kids, or does the state take them away? I'm just interested.

At work several people were talking and someone mentioned the name of a man I don't know.

One of the women pointed out that this particular man, while a boy was sometimes dressed as a girl, by his mother, within the boundaries of the house and garden only, because she originally wanted a girl.

She mentioned the son was happy wearing the clothes, but I still feel if instigated by the mother and not the son it is inappropriate.

My son is fascinated with the toilet, knows when he is going to pee (and 'signals' by ripping off his diaper at the last second) and HATES a dirty diaper...but he is only a bit under ten months. From everything people say, its too young to potty train...but he has been doing this more and more since he was a bit less then six months! Is there anything I can do now? I'm not expecting him to potty train instantly, but -anything- to make us both less frustrated with this!

I had a miscarriage at 21 weeks. I started bleeding at about 12 weeks and the doctor said I had bacterial vaginosis. I was put on an antibiotic that made me very sick so was only on it for 3 days. The doctor said that should have gotten rid of the infection but never checked. I continued bleeding for the rest of the pregnancy and they could not find a cause for the bleeding.

I gave birth on August 16th and had to be stiched because I had a tear. It's been 4 weeks and I have a pain in my butt (tailbone?) when sitting and standing for prolonged time. Also, I don't think I'm healing properly, I have few stiches poped and I have exposed bulging tissues sticking out of my vagina.... The doctor said it's normal and I can have it fixed when I have another baby, but I don't feel comfortable with that answer. DId anyone had similiar issue and what did you do?

ok i just had a baby 10 weeks ago i had a c-section. i just feel like i didnt get to experience childbirth to it fullest. my doctor said that from now on every baby i have will requier a c/s. is this definate or has anyone had other wise. i just wish that i can have a baby naturaly what can i do. anyways i dont plan on another baby for about 2 years.

I heard that if babies watch TV it ups there chances of developing autisum, has anyone else heard of this or know if it's true cause my two month old stares at the TV if we have her in the living room...I try to distract her with toys but she just loves to stare at the TV should I make her stop?

My 2 year old daughter likes to color and draw with her left hand. She will also use her right, but it is mostly the left. Does this mean that she will be left handed? Will this cause any problems for her with school? None of my other children are left handed, so I have never had to deal with it before.

I have a 2 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. They have a table with their tv on it in their room. I have changed the table many times to higher and lower to try to get them to not climb on top of it, but they keep managing to climb on top.

ok will this girl, she's one of my 'friends' (like she hangs out in my group) well she's a ***** to my boyfriend all the time! she says mean things about him, calls him an retard, snaps at him all the time and has even kicked him a couple times!
the other day everyone was messing and he barely knocked into her. she kicked him full force in the leg and started screaming at him. i was like wtf?! so she started screaming at me.
later (after a couple cans) she appologised to me but i don't fell like forgiving her... i told her she needed to say sorry to him not me. but now she's playing the guilt trip on me...should i forgive her?

My hubby and I used to watch this tv program where the guys last name was Parker but that's all anyone ever called him. I fell in love with the name (behind Nicolas of course, because that is my son's name).

My baby girl was born on August 22,07 she is a little over 3 weeks I still feel sore down there, and I also have quite a bit of pain when I have a bowel movement and there is blood when I wipe....Is this normal? How long does it take to fully recover and heal? Is is a little longer since I had an episiotomy? Im a little scared and since Im a first time mommy I not sure if this is normal or not.
