You definitly need a second opinion. Bulging tissues can be quite serious. The stitches should be dissolved by now, I would think. And there is NO reason to wait until you have another baby -if you do which is obviously your choice, not one that has to be made right now and nobody's business but yours and your husband/partner.
As for the pain in your tailbone if that has been going on since birth it is possible that it was bruised, particularly if you gave birth lying on your back. It is probable it would heal on its own but I would want x-rays to be sure it isn't broken, and ask to be seen by a specialist (like a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or chiropractor) to see if there is anything that can be done to speed the healing.
Ultimately if you ever feel you aren't getting proper care from a doctor get a second opinion. You probably wouldn't hesitate to fire a plumber who treated you like this, your health is far more important.

I gave birth two weeks ago and I have that pain in my coccyx that you are talking about, it's bruised and I think it could be due to the way I was pushing and maybe cause I gave birth on my back. Most people I have spoken to didn't get this pain in their tailbone but it is normal so don't worry. It will take time to heal. It hurts when I sit down and I still have to sit on my rubber ring. My stitches still haven't dissolved either. Sorry I can't help you on the bulging issue.

One of my best friends went through this. I also had a tear but my stitches healed really nice, altough it took 8 weeks to feel fully comfortable when sitting and everything. My friend's dr told her the same your dr told you. She had to wait 2 years, she just had a baby 2 months ago and they did a corrective surgery for it. It caused her great problem tough, like her baldder moved down and they had to put everything back in its place. She wonders now why she didn't get a second opinion then, so I guess you could go to another Dr and see what he has to say. If he says you have to wait at least you gave it a try, and not keep wondering what if........

Definatly see another doctor or more if need be.
Tell them that you just can't wait unitl you have another baby.
But, give it some more time to heal before you choose to have a surgery.
It isn't good to have buldging tissues sticking out of your vagina.......sounds like a prolapsed uterous. Some doctors would use what is called a pessory to support the tissue. But it doesn't always work.
Don't do any lifting of anything heavy. Don't vacumn or drag anything heavy.
You still need recovery time. Take good care of yourself and if it doesn't improve don't be afraid to see another doctor.
I had it happen. It got fixed when I had my hysterectomy. But, then I had all the children that I wanted.
Take good care of yourself.

I had my stitches come out of my episotomy a little earlier than it should from doing to much but it healed fine and had no problems. Of course when cut down there it is different and never feels the same. what you are describing sounds like a problem and I would get a second opinion. Bulging tissue ? it sounds infected . what if you have no more kids, then you won't have chance to have it fixed. Get a 2nd opinion,

No, that is not right. I had an epis. also and it was stitched tightly, no buldging tissue. I was sore for quite a while but you need to get a second opinion and get this fixed before it heals incorrectly. No reason to have this looking or feeling abnormal to you.

The bulging tissue might be a prolapse.
I had a slight prolapse of the vaginal wall and there was nothing they could do-Just told me to do my kegels.
If it's bad enough it might need surgery so I would get a second opinion.

Whenever you are not comfortable with an answer from your doctor you must push to get things done. You should call your doctor again and express that you are very uncomfortable with this and would like something to be done as soon as possible, and don't take no for an answer.
If your doctor doesn't comply, I strongly suggest getting a new one.

One of my friends swore that she delivered her baby from the rear! She said her rear hurt for almost 6mths after delivery. She, too, had a tear and stitches. So, I guess it just takes a LOT of time to heal.
