You can try for a VBAC if your C-Section wasn't due to certain health issues. If it was because of something brought on by that pregnancy then you can try a VBAC but if you had to have the c-section because of small pelvic area or problems with your uterus or things of that nature you will have to have a repeat c-section. Most Dr's though will prefer c-section instead of VBAC because in most cases they end up having to do a c-section anyways but you can ask to try VBAC.

I have heard many times before that once you have a c-section you can not have a natural child birth. I think that it depends on how the c-section was done, and how much damage and scar tissue was caused from it. I know a girl who had a c-section with her second child, and then had 2 more after that naturally. I think that if it was safe for you to have a natural delivery in the future the doctor would have told you so.

don't believe your dr. If you wait more than 2 yrs, had a horozontal cut on the uterus, and you have no other medical conditions you can easily have a v-bac (vaginal birth after ceasarian). Many drs discourage the procedure because there is a slight risk (less than 1 %) of having a uterine tear durng labor, and they are afraid of being sued. It also means less money for them. You may wna to look around prior to having your next baby for a new dr, one who will support your decision. Good luck!!

It depends on the incision type, but in the vast majority of cases, it is safe to have a vaginal birth after c-section.
