Can a public changing station support a 150 pound autistic child?

no. when my son was 50 lbs we would use pull-ups (good nights)or do it in the car. Can the child be habit trained? Consult a behavioral therapist, they can help you develop a toileting program to get him trained. Good luck!

Depends on what kind is it, but the plastic fold down ones will NOT safely hold anyone of that size. If it's a place that you frequent, you might talk to the management and see if they can put in something more sturdy, such as this

Good luck, sometimes it helps to have the local autism society representative to go with you, write letters to the store and the main office, etc.

public changing station --- no, I wouldn't risk even lifting him up there.
I'd personally just do it in the car...and no... walmart and target are not going to be putting in changing stations for autistic children anytime soon. sorry

I don't think a changing station can support that much weight.

I would guess "no." If it were my child I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure that they are made to handle a good amount of weight, if they are installed correctly (into a stud ect) but you'll never know if it is or not.

no they arent made for that much weight
i would just change the child in the car
