I guess my 14 year old daughter didnt show up for school today. Im just gonna wait to see if she comes home at the normal time today and acts like nothing happened. How should I go about dealing with this? Ive taken stuff away from her before and she doesnt care. I just dont know what else to do.

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my husband and I's 4th and final child. Another little boy. All of our other children are named after constellations.

Orion Thomas 8
Ascella Marie 4
We want to name our son Clayton Michael but we dont know if this will make him feel left out from his other siblings. Should we go with this name or choose another constellation?

We fell in love with the names Kingston David for a boy and Kinsley Annabelle for a girl. some people suggested David Kingston for a boy and Annabelle Kinsley for a girl. What do you think? Stick with our first choices or go with what other people say?

Im pregnant and getting married in two weeks and it's not safe for me to go to the tanners. I have a lizard and was wondering if I use it's heating lamp on my back for 30 minutes a day and keep the fan on my front, to make sure the baby is at a comfortable temperature will it tan my back??

This is my first month of taking Clomid. My doctor started me out taking 25mg days 5-9. I asked my doctor what to expect and what kind of risks or side effects there may be but I cant get a direct answer out of him. Can anyone tell me anything about this? Or maybe direct me to a website?

My son is four weeks old and for the last three days has started having hard stools. He cries and fusses just before and then he has a small hard stool. He is going about every three hours. Does anyone know anything to do for him. Also he is having alot of gas.

I havent changed anything with formula or added anything new to it.

Alright, so new school year and blah blah blah. Whatever. I got my schedule and I'm not with ANY of my friends. I know they're going to leave me since I'm not with them at ALL. How should I approach my counselor to try and have them change my schedule? I know she wouldn't want to hear whining, so what should I say to convince her?

I am 5 weeks pregnant, and yesterday i started bleeding. Very like bright red color. I do not have cramps at all, and its not like a period. Its pretty light, although it has lasted all day today and yesterday. I was wondering if i am still pregnant. I took another test this morning, which still says positive, but the bleeding is worrying me. Help!!

My hgc level consistantly increased i was at over 9,000 last time they cheked. My midwife seemed negative about this pregnacy from the start I'm not sure why. My gestational sac grew, I had no cramping, only light pink spotting after intercourse. After the third ulta soud the midwife told me that my pregnancy was not valid because she did not see anything inside the sac. Has that ever happened to anyone or someone you know and turned out to have a normal pregnancy?

I had a positive back on Aug. 30 then it tapered off. So we did the baby dance on 28-31st (with maybe a couple for added 'insurance'! ;) I even had ovulation 'pains' (or so I thought) on the 29th. Today I tested again and it was denfitley a positive again, even more so than the last one??! The reason I tested again is that I've read conflicting things about them and am just trying to get a gauge on what's normal for me and my body.
I did read somewhere that you can gear up with the LH Surge and may not release an egg(because of stress, illness etc etc)..in which case it would 'try again' which would result in another LH Surge.
I should be due for my AF around the 15th.
Anyone else in the same boat?

So, my mom kind of freaked me out today... she was talking about pre-eclampsia (she had it in 3 out of 4 of her pregnancies) and she was giving me a run-down of how she felt when she had it.

Well, my feet are constantly swollen (and i know that some swelling is normal) and my hands sometimes get tight and I can't type or hold things, and last night I was having pains in my chest... (i figured from caffiene. i had an extra cup of coffee last night, maybe not the best idea).

Well, I was trying to look up the average blood pressure during pregnancy... i know everyone is different. at most of my dr's visits it has been 120/70, and last time it was only 120/60, and i don't really know how to gauge whether that's high or low or normal. i noticed on my chart they had written something was high, but i feel slightly embarrassed when i ask too many questions about my charts. so i didn't bother to inquire...

i guess my question is how do i know if my BP is high or low?

and i am 25.5 wks pg

I have 2 daughters, 10 and 15. I have tried to talk to the oldest one in the past and now I have tried again. But she is so hostile towards me and I suspect she might have already have had sex with her boyfriend, which she claims is 17, but he looks alot older and I can't stop her from seeing him.

Can I begin talking to my youngest daughter about this topic now?

Today I book appiontment to see a midwife on the 1st of oct than I will be 9weeks and my GP said my 1st scan will be when I am 18th weeks, but my friends said I am suppose to have my 1st scan in 12th weeks..is this ok?

I was on Depo- got it back in March. Obviously it has since worn off. I started the Pill almost a week ago, missed 2 days and had breakthrough bleeding, and continued taking it. I have been having steady unprotected sex with my boyfriend throughout our six month relationship (since February). Now I'm munching on little things a lot, my abdomen is hardened, and I am exhausted. I don't know whether I am pregnant or not- or if it is too soon (I think it probably is) to take a HPT- and if I am, I have to stop taking the Pill! But what if I'm not- then I'm at risk of getting pregnant! I am a young adult and do not feel prepared for a child- I would never had been off birth control if it hadn't been for the horrible effects of the Depo. What do I do??

As we enter mid-life (45) some of us get the hankering for another baby. I couldn't have another baby because of health problems. Did you get that nudge? Did you have a late-life baby? How did it turn out? How old were you?

My best chances for a little one around my house are my kids--17 and 21. I'm going to see that the 17 yearold is 30 before he has kids (immature)! But my 21 yearold graduates Rice university in December. She's planning on grad school, but she's got her eyes open for possibilities!!

I've had three positive home pregnancy tests this weekend. I called my OBGYN to get in for my first appointment and to do the blood test and they said they can't get me in until September 26th. I asked if that was too far out to wait for a blood test and they said as long as I was feeling alright it should be okay. Is this true? Or should I try to find a new doctor? They said it would be good to wait because I'd be close to 8 weeks and they might be able to hear the baby's heart. I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?

Prices are crazy here in TX. We would pay $800 every 6 months for our son to drive our car. And he can't drive one of them, because we only have liability insurance on that one (he might make a mistake and cream the car and we'd have no insurance to fix it--our daughter already did that with the other car!).

Is it fair to tell him he can't get a dr. license until he can pay for the insurance? In our state, you can get a license at 16, but we've made him wait.

I have a 25 day cycle and I am on CD19 and 7dpo AF is due on 9-11 I was due to ovulate on 8-28 and had sex on 8-26 and 8-28 .so far I have minor lower back pain and have been having a cramping sensation for the last two days like AF is coming early (I hope she is not)! What do you think, do you think AF is coming early or perhaps I baby danced at the right time?

My daughter is 2 weeks old and only weighed around 6lbs at birth. Afterwards she went down to 5 lbs 13 oz and we had to get her bundled up all the time. When the nurse came to our house and checked on her she was wearing a sleeper, a hat, and two receiving blankets and her temp was still only 96.7. The nurse told us to wrap her in another heavier blanket and put socks on her. Now over a week and a pound of weight later I think she is too hot. She has been really fussy lately. Now she is in just a diaper and two blankets and is sleeping fine. I took her temperature and it was 98.3. Can babies regulate their temps at only two weeks? Or is she just big enough now that she doesnt need all the extra layers? Could this be why shes so fussy?

Can I even wait that long? I mean, I've only told a couple of ppl, and not even my whole family, b/c I wanted to confirm at the Drs, but the entire office I want to be at is booked till 10/2, and the Dr I want to see can't see me till 10/17! Isn't that too long? I'd literally be around 11 wks b/f even seeing a DR!! Should I look elsewhere? Is her unavailability reflective of how difficult it will be in the future? thoughts, anyone? I just don't think I can wait that long!!
