I have a normal cycle every 28 days, normally ovulating on or around day 14, give or take a day. My CM is normal egg white consistancy. We've been trying to concieve now since May. My doctor suggested Clomid to produce more eggs ? I want your opinions on Clomid. Will this produce more eggs ? What are the chances of Multiples ? ( which is an ok thing ) How many people have had a good success with Clomid ?? Need your opinions please !!

It has always been my dream to adopt, where as I have only gone through small phases where I have wanted a biological child. He is cool with adoption but doesn't really want to do it.

Okay I know things happen - but I'm just worried about all the young girls out there who are going to see this and thing 'omg if I get pregnant like so and so, I'll be so cool and have so much fun' etc. Sure, being single and having a baby might be exciting and easy when you're a millionaire - but I'm sure it's not so easy for normal people making average salaries. It's almost like having a baby is the newest handbag in Hollywood!

had my period till 7/25th and had sex, on the 27th, condom broke. 2 hours later i took the plan b pill. i spotted a week later, than got my period a week early on the 10th, normally i have a very normal schedule. normal side effect of the pill. i've taken multiple hpts, including 8/10, 8/14/, 8/21 and 8/22. i did have sex in b/w those dates but they were all VERY MUCH protected, i inspected the condoms, and they had spermicide on them. I'm now due for my period September 6th. Since I've taken plan b i've had a lot of discharge, it seems to mostly be white now when it dries, normal looking and doesnt smell. yesterday my boobs hurt and today i really can't tell but they feel swollen to me, i have had them get swollen once or twice before my period, but idk..im just nervous. how accurate should of my hpts been? and could the swelling and discharge all just be related to my period..i'm also beginning to get really emotional today, just started actually, all period? Please be nice.

should I do? I don't want to name our baby girl Laura for her middle. I don't have a middle name and he does. He said we should honor our moms by doing this. But I like it to be a first name with our hyphenated last names. Also, someone at a party we both attended recently asked us if we were going to name our baby girl Laura for the middle name and I immediately said "no". I think most my MIL's friend's and family are assuming that we will.. I'm so frustrated. What should I do?

I work at a Licensed day care, and since it is State Licensed we are not allowed to put children in timeout. Instead we have to use a method called "positive redirecting." Which means if Little Johnny is jumping on top of the table, we take him down and say "its not nice to jump on the table. how about we play with trucks instead?" If you know anything about children you would know that with stubborn children this theory will not work.

I am so suprised that it is now against state law to put a child in timeout. The only thing positve redirecting is teaching them is that there isn't any consiquence for their actions.

So what do you think? Are you for or against timeout?

Parents, how would you feel if you went into your childs daycare and seen him/her in time out?

What if your child was being bullied repeatedly and all that happened to the bully was "positve redirecting?"

I would really love to hear the imput of parents. Thank you.

We have plenty of outlet covers, locks, etc but the babies seem obsessed with trying to unplug anything currently occupying an outlet - are there any devies out there that "lock" a plug into an outlet so that a baby cannot easily pull it out?

I'm 4weeks 6days pregnant went in today because of some brownish discharge and lite pinkish bleeding had an ultrasound done and all they saw was a gestational sac. They did the blood test today and have to go back in 48hrs. My doctor has me worried because she said i should see a fetal pole by now is this true? Please help i'm worried sick.

I am 1 week over my due date. I had a doctors appointment this morning, and he checked my cervix last week it was 2 cm and 50% now its 2 cm and 90% effaced. I know that after a internal exam you have some minor cramping, but all day today i have had some horrible cramping, thats just not going away. Last time i had a internal exam i was a little crampy for maybe an hour. But i have been crampy ALL day today (i was checked 11 hours ago) so im thinking that it has nothing to do with the exam. I bled last time i had the exam, this time i didnt. Well until about 20 mins ago when i went to the bath room there was a little blood. So i dont think the blood was from that. Does this sound fimiliar to anyone else? I know they say that you get cramps before you go into labor, and i have had them prior to this, just not all day long like this. I am almost 8 days over due, do you think this could possibly be the start of labor? Cramps-Blood-Backache-Contract... Thanks!

I'm suppose to start my period tomorrow. I was wondering do you think I should just wait till Friday to take another test? I think I had implation bleeding on the 24th of aug my last period was on the 8 th of Aug. I took a test last night but it came out - I think it was to early. When I had the implation bleeding I wiped there was a spot of blood and then I had brown yellow blood the next day that was it. oh im so confussed please help. Oh have you used the pregnancy test accu clear and how soon did you take it before your period and got a +?

Four days prior to my period, I was nauseated and ill, then on my designated day I received my friend for less then 24 hours total. The 2 days following it I am up all night throwing up, thinking I received my period(it seemed normal in the way it looked) though extremely shorter then normal and I have a virus. Can you be pregnant, have a one day period and still show negative on a test? If I should test again, when and what time of day it the best. Am I just having wishful thinking?

Has anyone gotten pregnant while on Metformin - to ovulate .. and Provera to bring on a period?! I'm on Metformin and going to get an HSG [to see if my tube is blocked] done as soon as I get a cycle - so I'm taking Provera to get a period .. was just wondering if it helps any to be "active" in TTC while on Provera ..
