Im 21 weeks with a little baby girl. I recently had my blood tests back and they said my Iron levels are borderline. Ive been feeling ok, I just wondered if this will seriously effect the baba?

I read a question earlier about dental x- rays and people were saying it is fine after 20 weeks. Im really really worried now because I had x- rays for a root canal at about 3 weeks pregnant, but I didnt even know at the time. I cant stop stressing about it and Ive worried myself sick! At the scans she has got everything in the right place but Im worried it has effected her brain or something?

He doesn't start nursery for 3 more weeks. Today we are going to an indoor play park but then I have no plans. We've been to the zoo and farm, swimming, parks, picnics, drawing, play dough, reading, singing, and to the seaside recently. Is there any more to do?

When my son is asleep (only at night) he makes squawking sounds and grunting sounds and sometimes a loud sound like he's gasping for air (but he's not gasping because he never stops breathing)
are all these sounds normal? it isn't crying .. it's just loud noises.
(he always looks peaceful when he's making the noises .. he doesn't seem to be in any distress)
and it doesn't happen during the day when he takes naps .. only when he's sleeping at night.
(this has been going on since he was 2 weeks old)

Im 17 weeks and my doctor didnt tell me when i could get the ultrasound to see if my baby has down's syndrome or not. now its to late but in a pregnancy book iv read that you can get the amniocentesis test.It is usually preformed at 14-16 weeks but can be done up to 26weeks. As i am young and going to be a single mum i dont think i could handle a child with problems at this stage in my life. If anyone has had this done or heard anything bad about it please shed some light for me.
The book also says that the baby isnt in a high risk of danger as the needle goes into the uterine walls and into the amniotic fluid but doesnt touch the baby. also it states that the risk of misscarage is 1 in 300 or 0.3%

Thanks

what good is it to stll have your "parental rights"? What exactly are our "parental rights"? And if someone else legally makes all the decisions for your child how can you excersize "parental rights"?

My friend's daughter was just born last month. He is in the army national guard and he is leaving next week for pre-deployment training. He will be gone for 7 months. When he comes back his daughter will be 8 1/2 months old. Will she recognize him or is he going to have to start all over and create a new bond with her?

I had nausea and vomiting about 1-2 times per evening for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. Then i was ok. Now it seems that at 32-33 weeks my vomiting has returned combined with heartburn (thats why i am up at this time!!).

Is this normal? I am quite badly constipated - going about every 2-3 days - could that be causing this vomiting?

(This is my 2nd pregnancy - in my first i had nausea for almost the whole 9 months throughout but almost no vomiting at all. )

OK, well me and my husband are going through a divorce. We have a 4 month old daughter. He just recently had another baby in july. I told him when we first separated that he could sign his rights over to me at anytime. Now that he has 2 children to support (which i havent seen a penny since he has left, but my laywers taking care of that right now) he wants to sign the right of our daughter over. I concider it bc he has lots of drama in his life and cant keep a job, what makes me think he will be a good parent. So should I let him sign his rights over?

Hi there, I was wondering if any one can tell me if aching or tired abdominal muscles was a 'symptom' of implantation or early pregnancy? Of course, it could just be my period gearing up and getting ready to go, but I'm hoping not :) Last night I was talking to my husband, and I giggled at something, and it felt like I had pulled a muscle! From a little giggle. Then I got indigestion (stomach acid burps) and had to sit up for a bit. When I woke up this morning, it felt like I had done a bunch of sit-ups the day before or something. I am trying not to get my hopes up (again), I would just like to know what you all think. Thanks! :)

children? My husband and I have a disagreement about that newlyweds can hold off on having kids until they're more financially secure and have a stable job or career, that is, if you think you might not afford to have kids you shouldn't. I disagree with him and I want to see what others say and help me out with some Biblical verses taht I might not come up with at this time as I'm a young Christian and still learning/growing Thanks!
