Why are you so obsessed with the McCanns? What did they do to you? Don't jump to conclusions, we haven't seen any evidence to form a opinion yet. All I am asking for is that little Maddy turns up safe (I can still hope, remember Elizabeth Smart?)

why shouldnt they be prosecuted? if it was a single mum who left a child on there own she would have social services on her back even put on the at risk list but what will happen to the mcCanns? nothing because they both people of a profession yeah they got to live with the guilt knowing there a child is proberbly dead but they should be done when they decide to come home but its a rule for 1 and 1 for another the system is a joke

there is a lot of talk about the McCanns in 'News and Events' 'Current Events' and a lot people there who do not like them - this may be a better place to ask this question as one of them may actually have the answer.
Disclaimer - regarding above I am not saying whether I do or do not agree regarding any prosecution or whether or not I like or dislike the McCanns. I simply want that little girl found!

Start you own petition if you like as long as your confident that your signiture alone will get the result you so desperatly want.
They made a horrible mistake but everyday day they feel the heat of people like you . Give it a rest.
I do agree that they should see the error of their ways dont get me wrong. What they did leaving their kids for the sake of a bit of freedom was horrific. But we will just have to see what happens if and when they come home. Social services are well known not to intervene whan its abso necessary.

Im not sure you need a petition, surely reporting them to social services would be enough?
Personally I think having to live with what they have done is enough punishment for anyone.
I dont even leave my kids with acquaintances let alone let a complete stranger check in on them in an otherwise empty room every now and then!

I'm not sure about petitions but what i am sure of being a parent my self.. how can you go out for an evening and leave a child and 2 small babies in an apartment with out supervision is beyond belief..... in this day you cant even let you kids out sight for one second for all sorts of reasons and not just child snatching, you know...... i think to be abroad where its a strange place with difficult language barrier makes it even worse...... this very obviously a sensitive subject..... even so i do think the parents have to be held in some way accountable for there actions...... and before you say it yes they are defo suffering..... but to go out socialising and not give proper cover for there kids!!!

You may have a life and you may not be sick...but you know nothing about the law!
Unless you have inside information, there is no indication that the McCanns have broken a law in this country and therefore there is nothing for which to prosecute them. If they have broken a law - and I am not sure which one you would be thinking of - then it would be up to the prosecutor in that country (Portugal perhaps) to bring a case to the relevent court.

I have to say nearly all your questions are based on the Mccanns, i for one think you need to get a life and stop all this rubbish for one they will not get prosecuted and why should you care whay does happen to them its that poor child you should focus on !

if there was a petition i would sign it. Come on people when you go on holiday with your kids who would leave their children at night so they could go for meal in foreign country especially when there young.it don't matter weather they was in the restaurant down stairs .wat happened if there was a fire. Its neglect!
