Hi there, I was wondering if any one can tell me if aching or tired abdominal muscles was a 'symptom' of implantation or early pregnancy? Of course, it could just be my period gearing up and getting ready to go, but I'm hoping not :) Last night I was talking to my husband, and I giggled at something, and it felt like I had pulled a muscle! From a little giggle. Then I got indigestion (stomach acid burps) and had to sit up for a bit. When I woke up this morning, it felt like I had done a bunch of sit-ups the day before or something. I am trying not to get my hopes up (again), I would just like to know what you all think. Thanks! :)

Okay, don't get excited, but.... that's EXACTLY how I felt during early pregnancy. My pelvic area was aching so bad. I felt like I did 1,000 situps and then went belly dancing. And I had big time gas and bloating. The doctor said the pelvic aching was from the uterus, ligaments, and muscles all stretching out to accommodate the baby for later.

The only difference is, I didn't get the achy pains until I had tested positive....about a week after wards. The gas and bloating started the week my period was due.

You didn't mention where you were in your cycle...but it's possible you're sore for some other reason. Sometimes a different sex position will do it (sorry if TOO real for you).

If you just ovulated or your period is a week away, those achy pains are probably from something else. But if you're late or due any day now.... it could be a sign.

Good luck!

Aching Stomach Muscles

I never had any stomach muscle aches. Now stomach acid burps...those were very frequent esp during pregnancy 2.

If you can't remember doing anything really physical that might have caused the muscles to feel pull, I'd give it a day or two and then go to the dr. Sounds strange.

Anything is possible, but in none of my pregnancies did I experience stomach muscle pain. Are you sure you have been stressing or straining them lately? The indegestion, on the other hand, I had that horribly and that is a definate symptom. Good luck.

Your muscle tissue may be cramping. Drink a lot of water. consume bananas. Take a sprint diet E. Stretch earlier and after determining. ensure which you do do a heat up and cooldown. A average 10 or 15 minute jog earlier and after are reliable. All of those issues will help you out.
