I have a 15 month old baby and I work around the clock...sometimes Ill work daytime so a normal day care would be fine..but sometimes (more often than not) my shift is at night...example tonight I go in at 4 and dont get out till around 11pm. Does anyone know of any daycare or maybe even some ideas that might work? Ive already asked friends but its not possible and my parents both work full time as well. The dad isnt even in the picture so Im clueless. Please help me think of some kind of possibility

When I sleep on my left side I put a pillow between my legs and after a few hours of sleeping like that I wake up in a lot of pain all down my leg, almost to the point where its hard to move to the other side. It just started a few nights ago, but its happened every night since then. Is my baby laying on a nerve or something. I was at the dr. today but I forgot to ask!

any info would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance

My niece who is seven months pregnant went into labor last night. When she went to the hospital they had her fill out paperwork and didn't even check on her until two hours later. When they finally did they sent her to another hospital(apparently they don't have a maternity ward). When she got there they couldn't find a heartbeat. They didn't do anything but try again to find a heartbeat. Now they tell her they are going to induce labor and she needs to make arrangments for a funeral. Should they have not checked her sooner? This makes me sooo angry, what can we do?

First thank you to everyone who has helped me so much on here!

Logan William arrived on 8/31 @ 9:28pm weighing 8lbs 12oz

I was induced at 8am and labored well untill the last 3 hours of hard labor, the baby would crown where the doc could see his hair but he would not move any further than that, no matter how hard i pushed or how much the doc helped him along. They finally belived me and took me in for a c-section. They even hooked me up to a pit drip to get the contractson stronger! They took this off when they decided to go c-section. I dont agree that I had to lay there and labor hard for 3 hours when I told them there was something wrong I couldnt do it, Then had to wait an aditional 45 minutes to an hour for the surgery team to set up and arrive (small hospital) all the while im still having unbearable hard contractions. Then to top everything off I had to be put fully under because something about the person who does the spinal blocks was not avalable. So my hubby

ok, so I generally see a lady dr, but at that office there r total 5 drs, 1 is male.
last time i was pregnant, i miscarried, well there was no heart beats, so they scheduled me for d & c procedure after the weekend, but on saturday night i was bleeding and cramping a lot, i took the codeine dr had prescribed me, but still it wasn't working, so i called dr on call, which was this male dr, i was explaining him everything, (i m from another country living in usa, so i speak with an accent, ) , he immediately told me to go to er without even listening the whole story, i just wanted to ask him how long does a medication take to work? instead of telling me to wait 10-20 min for medication to work, he just sent me er, and i ended up with thousands of dollars bills. today agian for my 2nd pregbec, i m scheduled to go to him, there is no other dr available, i m really angry that i have to see him, any idea how can i handle him?

I work in a hospital as a housekeeper and today I was working in Labor and Delievery, and I opened a huge fridge in the closet. It was full of bio hazard bags clearly labled with names and "Placenta". I asked a nurse who gets rid of them and she said some parents keep them!!! Why?? Is this normal? or is Portland Oregon just weird?

I have a 3 month old and am exclusively breastfeeding. I believe I have already been having periods. I was talking to my friend the other day about how this 'period' was weird and I couldn't figure out if I really did have period or not. I bled just a little (brown tint) for 2 days. She looked at me like I was crazy. I asked why the look and she said it sounded like implantation bleeding. So, now I'm just thinking, if I was pregnant while breastfeeding, how would I know without taking a pregnancy test? If I take one, I'll take a hundred, and I just don't know. It's only been 3 months since I had a baby. 7 weeks since the end of the 6 week post partum bleeding. My breasts are always tender because I'm breastfeeding. Should I wait to see if I have a another 'period' should I just take a test? What would you do and what do you think I should do? Me and my husband are always doing it.

Like the good mom she is, my mom took me to the school to walk around it and get used to it. There were a couple other familys there too. We were walking and this teacher came out and she screamed all snotty, " YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUR THE SCHOOL!" So my mom said very calm ok we're leaving. We looked at 2 more classes and we were about to walk down to the main hallway to the doors to leave when the lady goes said, "I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE." She stared at me and my mom with a really mean look with her hands on her hips for a while. My mom said You dont have to give me a look we're leaving and she said Your right you are and im not giving u a thing!! Sorry its kinda confusing I was just wondering if my mom handled that right. And then my friend went and saw the teacher and she told them that " a crazy lady and her daughter wouldn't leave" Comment with this plese.

I have tried holding off between feedings and he screams. I try to keep him awake or eating and he wont continue and I don't want to force him.
