I think people under-estimate the power of talking to a child even at a very young age. their brains are sponges, just keep feeding them information, and they'll soak it all up.
It also helps if intelligence is in the genes.

The number ONE thing you can do to help ensure your child's intelligence is spending all the time you can with him/her. Having your gf eat fish is good for the baby because it contains omega 3 fatty acids which are GREAT for a baby's brain development. But don't overdo it. Just like taking vitamins, taking the recommended amt is good, but you CAN overdo it and cause harm. So don't freak.
It has been a proven fact that children who have regular one on one interaction with a parent or both parents retain more and are higher in intellect. Early stimulation and reading help a child's brain to develop at an early age. Another thing you can do is try not to have too high of expectations. Your child will grow and develop however he/she sees fit and on his/her OWN TIME SCALE. The best thing you can do from the day he/she is born and especially comes home is spend time with the child. Don't focus on doing so many learning activities and watching learning shows, etc. The more YOU interact with your child the smarter he/she will be. And read read read READ to him/her any time you can. Good luck and congrats on the baby!

Spirituality has not something to do with it, quantity one. quantity 2, in basic terms because of the fact info stumbled on that on the measures used first borns out-completed different infants born later in start order. the different inferences such that they are "greater smart" are conclusions from those info. 0.33, those info do not propose that each and each guy or woman will carry out interior the comparable way or that different measures of overall performance won't contradict the conclusions. It has long been held that first born infants have some advantages that teenagers born later have not got. This benefit does not constantly exist, yet that for the period of basic terms ability that the capability of the dating is debatable. First born infants are often expected to take a lead with different infants and to replace for oldsters at situations. not all first borns settle for this duty, which provides variance and impacts the capability of the dating. in addition to, later infants could attempt to out-carry out older siblings. Many variables are in touch.

Play your child Mozart in the womb. Oh and bear in mind that emotional intelligence is a lot more important.

In my opinion, the best way to make sure that your child reaches his/ her full potential is by interacting with them. Talk to them and expose them to many diferent things such as music, art, every day skills, painting, and such things as these. And last but not least, time...spend time with your child and make learning fun. Enjoying your child is key to everything.

I have an IQ of 142, and have done since I was 12. I eat mainly chocolate, chicken nuggets, drink lots of coke, sometimes with vodka. I don't think that's how I got the intelligence.

talk to your child, read to him/her - but above all let them be a child - thrying to make a child progidy may cause problems later as you cannot make someone intelligent some people are and some are not - they will be intelligent in their own way
