Does anyone know the first steps I need to take to get him going? Any advice. Please do not give me lectures on NOT doing it. I want to try it and see how it goes - perhaps he can earn some money for college.

actually there was just a report recently on how studios are in a big boom for babies right now.
make sure you get head shots and call local studios to find out more information. check out local acting studios and see what advice they could give you.

Cute and photegenic babies are a dime a dozen. Its temperment that really matters. Other than that, I think its basically who you know. Think about what products are really out there that have baby models in them. Then where most of their advertising is created. If you're not already in one of those major cities, you're probably out of luck.

Do you really want your kid to turn into one of them? Let your kid be a kid. I think it's very selfish of YOU to put your kid into modeling... it's not for money for college, it's money for you and that's just a horrible decision. I don't think you should do it, and I cannot urge you enough to let your kid be a kid.

Um. Uh. Wait for somebody to discover him. We all think our kids are the cutest things in the world. I guess you *could* go to county fairs and malls and the like for competitions.

in all honesty, call a local modeling agency and ask, be careful, they are in it to make money just like you.use common sense and don't get taken
