Zaylah.

My daughter is Laila and I met a lady with a daughter called Zaylah about 2 weeks after she was born.

I was sorry I hadn't thought of it!

My daughter is 11 now and I haven't met anyone with the name Zaylah but I've met tons of Lailas!!

Summer's Eve. I kid you not. My cousin, obviously a product of the hippie generation (not necessarily a bad thing, but this is the sort of side-stepping flower-power occasionally produced), named her daughter this, oddly unaware that it is/was also the name of a feminine hygiene product. The girl has since come to be known as Summer, much--I'm sure--to her relief.

When I was at the aquarium, I heard a mom call her son...his name was "Diesel." I thought it was unique and it actually fit this little boy quite well.
