Inplantation takes anywhere from 2-10days so if you count 10 days from the last time you had sexual intercourse and then add 3 so 13days it's possible which is usually 1 day before your period is due.
However there have been some people had a positive test 6days before a missed period.

With a really sensitive test, or a blood test you can get a positive a day or 2 after implantation. With most it needs to be at least a few days.

Implantation takes anywhere from 7-10 days. You can take a blood test as soon as the day after implantation. You can take a blood test 7 DPO or after. To be safe, I would wait out the 10 days and take a blood test 10DPO since no one can pinpoint for sure when implantation is complete.

Good luck.

I would wait unitl close to the time that you will miss your period. The closer it gets to that date the more accurate the home pregnancy tests will become. If you do a blood test you don't have to wait that long, but if you have a doc like mine, you have to have already missed you period, and got a positive home test, to go in and do a blood test. Good Luck!!
