i am five (5) months pregnant and ate poached eggs w/hollandaise sauce and didn't realize that i shouldn't have eaten them. now worried that i've hurt the baby.

Don't worry about it. If you aren't sick, the baby's not sick. And if even you did get sick (from undercooked eggs or from the raw eggs in the sauce), the baby would probably still be fine.

The danger would have been if you were vomitting and/or having diahrea and got deheydrated. That's not good for you or the baby. The chances of this would be really remote. The baby will be fine.

You did not hurt your baby. Most likely the baby is not hurt in any way. People do alot of things before they realize they are pregnant or even after they find out they are.....

If you only did it once and just be aware of what you eat, the baby will be fine.
I had a perfectly healthy baby, and I ate deli meat before I knew I wasn't supposed to I also ate Feta cheese before I knew I wasn't supposed to.
I know people that smoked and drank alcohol during their pregnancies, their entire pregnancies and they had healthy babies, so your baby will be fine!!

it's not a large likelihood that you have hurt your baby. just be careful of what you eat from now on.

once of something that simple will cause no harm, so dont worry you are ok .
