Im pregnant and getting married in two weeks and it's not safe for me to go to the tanners. I have a lizard and was wondering if I use it's heating lamp on my back for 30 minutes a day and keep the fan on my front, to make sure the baby is at a comfortable temperature will it tan my back??

Do you have any tanning salons in your area that offer spray tan or airbrush tan? You can do it a day before the wedding and it is safe and gives you great color. With the spray tan its an all over tan, but with the air brush tan you can aske them to do more on your back specifically in the areas you are trying to get tan. Good luck.

I doubt it will work (it's the uva/uvb rays that tan you, not the heat). If it DID work and you're not supposed to use tanning beds, you probably shouldn't use the heat lamp, either.

I'd forgo the tan. If you're just trying to cover existing tan lines, get a good self-tanner.

lol, I thought this was a joke at first...I would go with spray on tan, or the airbrush tan. Dont try the lizard lamp it is a disaster waiting to happen

Don't use that!! Is a tan all that important?? Lay out in the sun for a few days....Or if all else fails go get the spray on tan! That worked for my friend...just make sure you do it at least a day or so before your wedding! God forbid if you get any of that crap on you dress!! Good Luck! Happy Wedding!

NO! and the light from that kind of a heat lamp is not the same spectrum of light that you would get at a tanning salon. This could be to dangerous. I would not attempt to do this.

Good grief, just buy a tanning lotion, or accept yourself the way you are, there is more to life than being tan, even for your wedding.

SPRAY TAN!!! It's great. I do it all the time. You can get a great glow and it won't damage your skin.
