I'm so sorry, Rose. My daughter asked to see my scar (she's 21) a few days ago and could hardly detect it--it's just a bit pink. But I had friend who had glue and she says there is no scar.

A friend of mine had 4 boys, all c-sections. The dr joked that he needed to install a zipper. He was right. She went on to have two more boys!

Staples.
My scar is a red line that runs across my lower belly. Some areas are darker than others. The majority of the area is still numb after two years. I've had two c-sections now.
I really don't think much about it. It's in a place that is unnoticeable unless nude. I could wear a bikini if I wanted to and noone would see it.

2 c sections both with staples. My oldest scar (horizontal) , 5 years old, is white, can't see the staple holes anymore. My other c section scar (3 years old), I will never again see! Both are slightly raised.
I did however have surgery to repair my broken ankle, they used both glue and staples. that scar looks worse than my c sections scars, but is flat with my skin.

My first incision was stapled it didn't look bad at all. Then my 2nd one was glued and that one didn't either and the scar was just deep but can be covered

I have horible scars but they did more then just remove the baby and since i had previous abdominal surgeries....... EWWW>.. they used staples..... Needless to say i wont be wearing a shirt that shows my belly any time SOON ( in this lifetime LOL) But all worth it.
My scars hurt to the touch... My daughter put her hand on my hip when i was laying on my side, and it felt like she stabbed me.............That was not the c sec scar...... For my other surgery they cut me hip to hip and down to the public line....so my hips hurt alot.

I was glued back. My scar after 2 1/2 years is pretty much non existent and is smooth. It did not take long to heal at all and I never had any problems with it.

staples and I do not think they give you a choice, glue will not hold your abdomen shut, so they close with staples.
My scar is horrible.
