Yes, choose another constellation- I love the idea!
How about
Caelum or Dorado if born in January
Pictor if born in February
Lynx or Pyxis if born in March
Leo if born in April
Cain (Canes) or Crux if born in May
choose the month he was conceived in if born in June or July because there aren't any good ones for those months.
Austrin if born in August
Cygnus if born in September
Cepheus if born in October
Phoenix if born in November
Eridan if born in December
Caelum, Austrin, or Eridan are awesome!
What month is the baby's due date?
Does Clayton or Michael have a special meaning? If so, I would make one of them a middle name- they are both nice names.

Yes, choose another constellation. He will certainly feel left out. You already have 3-ya can't stop now! =0)
Then you can use either Clayton or Michael as the middle name or even both. He could have 2 middle names or put a hyphen somewhere!

I don't think your child would feel left out, though it would be strange to name three kids after constellations and not the fourth one. If it were me, I'd probably stick with a constellation, unless you REALLY want to name him Clayton Michael, in which case, his name is just really special (not that the others aren't).

I think the constellation is a great and unique idea!! However, if you're set on Clayton Michael (which is adorable, by the way), I don't think it will make a difference to him, since it's the only name he'll know.
Good Luck and Congratulations!

I think you should probably go with another constellation, but it's really your choice. If you love Clayton Michael, that's what you should name him.
Otherwise:
Pyxis Michael
Caelum Clayton

I would suggest that you stick with your original pattern and go for another constellation. I am the only person in my family whose name doesn't begin with the letter G...and man, am I the black sheep! You stuck with a pattern for so long, why change it for the last baby? Cute idea, btw...I haven't heard of families going with a constellation idea. Good luck! :)

May I suggest some constellations to you? I think you should keep your theme going....
Caelum
Draco
Phoenix
I like Caelum out of those names.
I do like the name that you have picked out, but I think sticking with your theme would be appropriate.
BTW....me & my ex husband have names that start with L....so does our little girl...our son is the only one who doesnt have a L name...his is an E name. I feel bad, I kind of feel like we left him out, even though he hasnt noticed it yet!!!!!

Go ahead and name him Clayton Michael and if he whines about what the other kids got named, explain to him that when you named the others you were stuck in a hippie time warp and fortunately grew up in time to give him a normal name. How many times in her life do you think little Marie is going to be forced to spell Ascella for someone. Uggh! What a pain. And Sirius? Get serious. His name will never be spelled right.

By all means please name him Clayton Michael .. My opinion it is the only normal name you have chosen .
You and hubby may think the constellation thing is cute and unique but I bet years from now NONE of those kids use their first names. Let me know.
