a bump on my cervix which they wont check out until after I have the baby. None of this is making sense. This is the nurse that I am seeing not the dr. She said that its not a uti or anything. Just that my kidneys probably arent functioning properly.to stay off of my feet and drink more water. It is not making any sense to me.

my friend is going to get in vitro next year, i have read quite a bit about it, but i wanted to ask somebody who has had the procedure done, how difficult was it for you? how common is it to have multiples? i guess anything you can tell me about it, she has wanted a baby so long I'm so worried about her, if it didn't work i think it would kill her.

I am only about 7-8 weeks pregnat(find out a better number on wen) and was bored online. I found myself looking around on babies r us. I was looking at co-sleepers, bassinets, and the pack & plays with the infant bed up top. I REALLY like the look of the circle bassinets but the only 2 user reviews on the page basically said they were crap.....anybody have/had one?

For my first child she slept in the bed with us for the first couple of months. Well this time I refuse to make that mistake again. I do want the baby to be close though. So im thinking co-sleeper. but I dont know. im not sure how safe a co-sleeper is.

anybodys words are appreciated

Hi, I'm pregnant with my first child, and I'm so confused! I'm 38 weeks, and the doctor told me on friday that I am 2 cm. dialated(I have gained 1 cm. since the friday before that). I have been having awful cramps, but they aren't constant. I only have labor pains when I walk around or stand, or if I'm sitting straight up. I sometimes have them if I'm just laying around. This has been going on since my exam on Friday. Are these real labor pains that I should care about, or is it braxton hicks?

Why do some people say that the babies lungs are not developed at 37 weeks, but my doctor says if the baby comes out now she will be okay??? So if I Induce my labor on my own then the baby comes out she will be okay??? All the websites that I read say the only thing your baby is doing is just getting fat! so when are her lungs really ready??

okay before I start please only serious replies !! I have a 5 month old baby and I love him like no other but I keep having bad thoughts like when I'm giving him a bath I imagine me just letting him slip into the water until he's dead. or when we went camping I imagined drowning him in the stream. I also have thought about holding a pillow over him head till he stops breathing. I don't know what wrong with me Im so scared I might really do it I've never thought about stuff like this with my other so. I'm scared to get help because I think they will take my boys away from me. please help me someone please! I dont want my kids taken away but I dont want to go thru with these morbid thoughts .

Went to a Infertility specialist who couldn't help me and diagnosed me with all sorts of things. And finally I didn't want to go to him anymore. Went to a new doctor getting second opinion. He is doing all sort of test on me now.. Which I feel way more comfortable with him. I have irregular periods. And he did an ultrasound to see if the ovariies and uterus looked fine. And they do!! So the only other thing i'm guessing is my hormone level is out of wack! Right? Cause sometimes my periods are just that bit abnormal..Just for some funny reason this month my period was so normal! Sperm anaylist confirmed the issue isn't with my husband. Its with me! What do you think could be wrong.. From any of your experiences.. Any one have any advice?

My husband and I got to talking last night about sports, school, outdoor activities, and all the other things kids enjoy. We ended up wondering is it better to put a group of kids together who excel greatly in an activity [let’s say baseball] or is it better integrate?

Another example is; school. Is it better for kids who are better in the subject to sit at the same table so they can push each other to excel or spread themselves amongst the classroom to help others?

The thing is there are ups and downs to both situations. If they are with other students who have the same strong points [sports or science--whatever it is…] they really push them each other and feel challenged. At the same time, if they were to be with the other peers whose weakness was their strength they could teach the other kids and help out but not feel challenged. What do you feel is best for kids--to be integrated among others with weakness or be with peers who have the same strong point? Thanks!

If so, why? Did the Dr suggest it? Etc. My daughter has been on soy almost from birth. I am switching insurance and Pediatrician and this is one of the questions I am going to ask the new pediatrician. She started taking it because she kept throwing up regular formula.

My son is 12, almost 13. We live in Texas, and as most people know we have had some pretty bad storms in Texas this year. We have been lucky and have not suffered much damage. However, now every time it even rains even a little my son get so stressed out. I have spoken with him about it and he knows its stupid but he says he can't help it. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering when exactly I should go to the hospital when I'm ready to have the baby. I know that I need to go right away if my water breaks to avoid infection, but if it doesn't break and there's only contractions when should I go? It's my first pregancy and was told that there's a window of time I need to make it to the hospital by in order to get an epidural. I'm not sure if I'm gonna get one for sure, but I do want the option. I'm only 5 mins from hospital.

Okay, I'm on day 11 post ovulation. Today is the first day I have felt anything wierd or different. Yesterday I started feeling cramps like I'm about to start my period. However, today I have felt totally off. My body seems to be aching like I have the flu or something. I've had a suddle headache all day and my cervicle mucus seems to be egg white like. Sorry if that's tmi! I'm just really hopeful after yesterdays feeling that I was about to start my period. Is this false hope? Any info would be so appreciated! Even if it's not what I want to hear.
