a bump on my cervix which they wont check out until after I have the baby. None of this is making sense. This is the nurse that I am seeing not the dr. She said that its not a uti or anything. Just that my kidneys probably arent functioning properly.to stay off of my feet and drink more water. It is not making any sense to me.

my opinion, the nurse know 50% of whats going on compare to a doctor knows 100%, i would talk to your doctor and make sure that everything is ok and see if the nurse told you is what is really true and see what can be done.

I would ask to speak to a doctor. You have a right to know what is going on...how many weeks pregnant are you...because you are the one that has to wait until "after you have the baby" to find out what this bump on the cervix is. Ask questions...its the only way to really know what they mean...sometimes even doctors aren't clear...Good Luck!

Usually if they see protein (depending on if it is a trace, 1, 2, 3 or 4) - it may be a sign of preeclampsia. I would ask to see your doctor - especially if you are cramping. How far along are you? My friend just delivered her baby early (5 weeks early) due to preeclampsia.

I'd demand to speak to a Doctor. She just can't tell you this and scare you and not give you details. Good Luck.

i think at this point you need to see the doctor...call and make sure they understand that you need to see your doctor not his nurse...write down the questions you want to ask when you go so you dont get side tracked by him....good luck to you

i was dumping protein when i wasn't eating enough. eat up, drink up and ask to talk to your doctor, no need to be scared. hope you have a happy, healthy baby. will pray for you.

Please go and get a second opinion from a doctor. If it dosen't feel right or you don't like the answer you have been given seek another doctor. because that dosen't sound right to me either.
