I've just started leaking a little bit of colostrum, and my partner is acting really squeamish about it, asking me to "please not leak on him" during sex. I find this hilarious considering it was leaking of a bodily fluid during sex that got me pregnant and lactating in the first place. lol. I just wondered how other women's partners have reacted to leaky nipples?

I was on the pill the past 3 months but wasnt taking it correctly. I wasnt really good at remembering to take the pill. I stop taking it this last month and my last menstrual cycle was on 5/17. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on 5/28 and 6/8. Am I at a higher risk to be pregnant since I stopped taking the pill and had sex about a week after my period? Mind you, that we already have a 3 year old daughter and I feel we are ready for another baby.

My daughter will be a week old tomorrow. My milk came in on Day 3. They have been engorged since. I have used a breast pump just to release the pressure and relieve the pain, but I am just wondering, how long does it last? I plan on breast feeding for awhile, so I am just hoping that this will stop soon....

encourage parents that they can do no wrong, and if their grown kids have anything to say about it then the "child" is labelled as rebellious, foolish, immature, silly, depraved, selfish, etc etc....

i think this woman is extremely condescending and passive aggressive. help me figure out if I'm right! i feel like i'm going nuts! my mom is listening to this crap! she's already disowned my brother!

I was wondering, if its just me or what, I work at night but just a few hours, reason, no money for child care even if I got a day job, but I'm starting to get tired of the night job, depressed and etc. I take care of my child of 2 and one of 7 then of 10, and I sometimes wonder of the stress, which is worse, work stress or childcare stress? I love my kids to death but sometimes the screaming and bickering can take a toll, I'm sure others can couch for this. Its a little harder too when your toddler is behind in speech and all they do is scream or cry when they cant express themselves like we do. Sometimes the walls seem to close in, I try to get out with the kids but lately its been too hot, no money to go to the mall. Sometimes I just want to get a day job, but so far cant find one that has available early morning hours. their mother has them untill 12 and thats when i take over, and untill 930 pm. I think I've grown some more gray hair and lost some.

Has anyone heard or had any experiences with inducing labor with ginger root tea? My mother in law made me this tea by boiling ginger root. You drink the water and supposibly it helps to induce labor. It worked for her, I'm wondering if anyone has tried this?

im 13 years old and my mom resently died in a car crash caused my a drunk driver. its been kinds ruff around our house. i have a 16 year old sister and a 19 year old sister who is 37 weeks pregnant. my 10 week old son has suddenly became very 'clingy'. he is breastfed, he use to be very content being (entertaining) by himself, and he would only wake up once in the night. now he wakes up about every hour throughout the night, he won't fall asleep for a nap by himself anymore-he wants me to hold him then he goes to sleep and as soon as i sit him down he cries.
we've went to his dr. a few days ago because for about 2 weeks now he has been spitting up crazy amounts of milk and even projectile puked few times. he's gaining weight somehow so the dr. wasnt very concerned.
plus, he got his 2 month shots 1 week ago---this all couldn't be connected could it?
....needing some suggestions!

Is it true that every cigarette that you smoke takes away 10 mins of your life? My boyfriend told me thats what he heard but I was wondering if theres any facts that prove it. I know smoking does shorten your life but not sure if each individual cigarette really takes away 10 min. thanks a bunch ♥ ♥ ♥

I have been cramping and just started bleeding a little. Could this be my period? Baby was 5 wks and I was supposed to be 15 wks along, bleeding only lasted about week and a half. Since I was not very far along, could this be my period? It sure feels like period!Also my hormone level was low to begin with.

How often do people bleed in early pregnancy? Is it very common? How about bleeding after or during exercise? I suspect that I might be pregnant. I have all the signs. I'm not due for my period for at least another week. My cycles typically last about 36 days. Last week I had some very light spotting. It lasted Thursday and into Friday. Like I said, it was very light, not even continual. Yesterday and today, after working out, I had very light spotting again. Once again, not continual. It stopped shortly after I quit exercising. I don't know if it was related to the exercise or not. Like I said, I am not even sure if I am pregnant. I suspect that I am. Other than this bleeding, I have NEVER had spotting between periods. I called my doctor this morning. They said to watch my cycle for the next couple of months, unless I happen to be pregnant. Which, I don't know if I am pregnant for sure. I am assuming it would be too early to test. Anybody have any suggestions?
