As a guy, I'll never experience this, but I've always been very curious. I've held my wife's belly when my son kicked and it was almost surreal. What does it feel like for the mother? My wife said it's like twitches and tumbles.

In the early stages in kinda feels like wind bubbles but as the pregnancy progresses it feels kinda strange but in a nice way. Sometimes is strange to think there is a little person living inside you, and it does sorta feel like twitches but then again you can feel big thumps sometimes and the skin rippling. Its very reassuring when your pregnant to feel these things as it makes u feel closer to your baby, although it can be slightly uncomfortable of a night when you wanna sleep!! lol

It IS surreal. It is one of the most awesome things there is...and yes, it's like twitches sometimes and tumbles at others. Then when the baby is really getting big, it can actually be almost painful. my son used to kick me in the ribs all the time, I had a lot of soreness.

It is an awsome feeling. Imagine what you felt being on the inside of your stomach, and multiply that by three about 40 times a day. You can feel the the baby change positions, stretch (which somewhat hurt if it's in your ribs), and simply kick or hit. the best feeling is when you feel the baby's head or bottom jam into your stomach just below the ribs.

I like to here when a man is concerned about what his wife experiences, that shows me you are greatly envolved and you will be a good father. It is very amazing to feel a baby move, just knowing theres life inside a woman, theres no real words to explain that, but sometimes it hurts when a baby moves, especially if it doesnt have much moving room. Its something you can never experience so appreciate it just as much:)

In the beginning, it feels like butterflies fluttering around, or like gas lol. When the baby gets bigger, it's like your wife said, twitches, jabs, like being kicked from the inside :)

It's the most amazing experience. Kind of like having a ball rolling around. Weird, I've always wanted to experience sex from a mans point of view.

well....it feels like a baby kicking you from the inside! :) At first it just feels like a flutter, but by the end it is most definitely kicking. I love how at times you can almost grab their little heal when they are kicking. It hurts when their feet are up under your ribs though.

It's so good that you're interested. The movements can feel so different from one another, some can hurt and some feel like if you take your fist on your thigh and just roll it around (kinda like your massaging your thigh with your fist). Some feel like a sharp pinching and if the baby is up under your ribs or pushing on your diaphram it can take your breath away or be very painful (sharp pains).

It's really unexplainable how it feels, that's the best i can do.

It is truly amazing to feel the flops and summersaults, kicks and punches the baby will do while it's awake. Not to mention how funny it feels when the little one has the hiccups!
