Ok, I just want to know....does your vagina size/strength/shape return to normal and the same after you give birth? I'm being induced in 2 weeks (June 26th!) and he is *expected* to be right under 8 pounds. I am wondering, since he'll be somewhere around that size, how long does it take to get "small and tight" again? Weird question, but I don't want sex with my boyfriend to change after our baby arrives! (yes, there will be much protection used this time around!)

I'm looking for a unique baby shower gift for a girlfriend of mine. She & her husband are due to have baby #2 (a boy..they have a 3 year old girl) and some friends are throwing her a small shower. She doesn't know about it, and hasn't registered anywhere. She has all the basics from when her daughter was a baby. I don't want to get clothes because that's what everyone else is probably going to get. I already got her a sling (she likes mine that I still use with my 1 year old). Any ideas?

I am 15 weeks and a first time mom. What am suppose to do with my Baby at 6 weeks old when I have to go back to work? The idea of leaving her with a total stranger at a day care is just heart wrenching. But I can't stay home for finanicial reasons. Any other suggestions besides day care? What did yall do?

my 7 month daughter, has never really taken much of her bottles maybe 4 oz on a good time.
she is in the 10-15th percentile.
Today instead of giving her a lunch bottle i put it in her sippy cup, which she drinks real good out of, and let her have her formula that way. she actually drank a bit more than if i would of given her it in a bottle.
Is this okay to do? I was told that she is getting 10 oz less than what she really should be getting, but i can't force her to drink a bottle when she doesn't want it.

My oldest daughter took a bottle till age 2 and drank tons! this one doesn't like a bottle to much, she will take 2-4 oz on a good time. so thats why i am so confused :)

i bought a fertil-focus scope and i just got it in the mail, so i wanted to try it out. I am on my 6th cycle day so i still on my period but today should be the last day. so anyway i did the spit test and its showing thoes little chrystles... what does that mean... i know that the chrystles mean im about to OV but i have a 34 day cycle and im not to OV till around the 29.. please help

I'm 23 and i'm healthy but, I have irregular periods so that i'm not getting pregnant (Also i'm not going for any gym - b'coz one of the reason for irregular periods) How should i calculate the peak days for irregular periods. I'm in need of a baby...Is their any problem in my uterus...? Usually i won't get my periods naturally if i wait till 3 months. So my doctor suggested some pills to get my periods. This is not fair but now i'm in need of a baby, before 3 years i got married. Everyone is expecting a baby from me. So i went to the doctor and she suggested the same period pills and also she gave the fertility pills to increase the ovulation. Today is my 5th day of my periods. I have to take through 9th day, is that pills will really works and when i need to work-out for a baby. Pls suggest some ideas. Pls help me to conceive. Will that pills really works to get pregnant ?

This morning I went to a local coffee shop and when I was walking in I noticed a car with 3 very young children in it. All the windows up with the car not running and I just figured their mother was just running in quick to get coffee but one of her boys got out of the car to go get her and she was sitting in the shop doing piles of paper work with this guy and that made me very upset I wanted to yell at her on the spot but I decided not to and that I was just going to try to report her for leaving her kids in the car in 90 degree weather while she's in there doing work. If she was just getting a quick coffee I would not try to report her, I would have just been a little peeved about it.

So does anyone know How I would go about reporting this woman?
In my state it is Illegal to leave your kids in the car for even a second.

When ever I am feeding my 9 month old son, he continuously grabs for the spoon. He does fine the first half and the second half of the feeding is when grabs at it. I know this is all a learning process, but should I encourage this behavior? He grabs the spoon and empties everything out, he never gets any in his mouth. He just wants to chew on it. He will get so mad when I don't let him have it or try to take it away. I have even tried to let him hold on to a spoon and I feed him with another one. He still wants the one that I am using. I give him plenty of finger foods to eat by himself and he does pretty good with that. So, should I encourage him when he grabs the spoon like that or not?

I'm six weeks and lately I've been so forgettful! I'll tell my husband the same thing twice, then he laughs when he reminds me that I JUST told him that, I'm sending in incomplete reports at work, I'll forget that I even SENT a report and start to do it again, etc. Anyone else had this experience? Normally I'm very organized and together.

i am worried about passing on Group B Strep to my baby. My midwife thinks they can't get the antibiotics to me in time because my first labor was so fast and I live 30 minutes from hospital...anyone know if inducing me early might help control or slow down contractions so they have time to get antibiotics in me? I'm really worried :(

This question is for my wife. She stopped breast feeding 11 days ago and still is in pain (as least one side is engorged) She is wondering when it will end? When does the body stop producing milk, and return to normal? This is our second daughter and my wife breast fed her for 1 3/4 years, so she knew stopping would not be an overnight "return to normal" but does anybody know?

My 13 yo girl is a C cup, so needs much support. I'm that kind of mom who worries a lot about my kids. So, for her best, I make her wear bras that give much support and protection, with thick tisue and 4 hooks in the back, like the one at http://www.anita.com/de/en/0,1,104,1478,39236__products-detail.htm She doesn't enjoy, but we have a good relationship, she knows I love her and wants her best, so she obeys, though she'd rather wear another kind of bra and sometimes complains. But on this point I'm firm, though with much love.
If your mom dis that to you, would you obey? Would you make fusses , rebel, something like that? Would you do things like taking it off behind your mom's back or wearing another bra when you're not home and your mom is not around?

OK, the faint at heart, turn away :)

I have to ask this question, my husband and I are TTC - I just sent out another post, but he came in me June 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13.

That is a lot of little guys. My lower abdomen feels kind of "full" or bloated. Now - I think I'm getting sick so that could be all it is, but do you think it's possible that there's just so "much" up there that it is actually making me feel bloated?

Sorry if it's gross, I just figured someone here might have had a similar experience :) Thanks!

My husband and I are pregnant with my first child (his second)! We just told our families, and my parents were really excited! But his mother told me that it wasnt fair to his little boy! because he doesnt live with his daddy (he is 2)! Every time we talk it's always "poor brayson he's going to be jealous, and she even tells me she prays it's a girl so that it wont hurt his feelings, his daddy having another little boy! Im about fed up and I just want to scream at her and tell her that there are other children in this world besides Brayson and was she expecting us to never have a child together! I have been using regular bottled water. A nurse at my doctor's office recommended tap water because it has flouride. Is there any other reason I should be using tap water besides the fact that it has flouride in it? I know floride is good for teeth but my daughter does not have any teeth yet. If I do use tap water, then do I boil it? I have never drank tap water. Sometimes in my town the water turns brown for some reason. Or should I use the nursery bottled water?
Because I don't drink tap water I just find it hard to use it in my daughter's formula. Which water is best?
