That just means that your baby is a little bit bigger than normal. U/S are not the best indicators of the baby's size though. I wouldn't worry about it unless your Dr worries.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!

99% of the time this is normal (it happened to me actually) and the odds strongly are with you that you'll have a happy , healthy and beautiful baby.
As others said it is determined by your baby's size and in the worst case scenario it just means you will cave to have a C-section about 3-7 days earlier than the natural birth would take place.
Even this minor inconvenince is very unlikely and hope everthing goes well with you and your new child.

It's going to be a wild ride...

This is completely normal; infact, those weeks aren't very far off from each other. That was a pretty accurate count. At this point, that baby is going to come when he/she is ready to. Hang in there and take a deep breath. The anticipation will be over soon, and you'll be holding that baby you've been longing to see.

It's Natural for your doctor or midwife ect. to realise you are due a few weeks earlier than expected, maybe she got it wrong, but it's fine. You will go into labour when YOUR Ready not anyone else.

they have a way to measure or figure out how far along you are in your pregnancy. when I was pregnant with my daughter I had to go to the hospital b/c my doc. thought I was going into labor too soon. anyways, the technician told me that I was 34 wks when I thought I was only coming into 33. nobody's perfect. just means your baby is coming sooner than you thought! congrats!

That was determined by the baby's measurements. Means you will probably have a larger then average size baby =} Sometimes they will change your due date if it's a dramatic difference..

i don't know if it's "normal", but when i was pregnant, they changed my due date and didn't tell me, so when i thought i was 40 weeks, they told me i was 42 weeks...i don't know why they changed it, unless they based it on an ultrasound...my baby was 7 lbs. 9 ozs, so it wasn't that she was large for her size...i guess you might have your baby earlier than expected...that could be nice!
