Girls start anywhere from 10-13 years old. Signs that you are about to start, is about 6 months before you period you will start to notice a clear discharge. An idea to also give you a approx start time is 2 - 2 1/2 years after you start to notice breast development.

No two woman in this world are alike. You can get your period at any time. Some women get it around your age, while others don't receive it until they are in their teens.
Generally, you may want to have a small pack of pad liners around in the apartment, just incase you do get surprised.
Other than that, try not to worry or stress out about it too much. It will happen when your body decides to let it happen.

Age 11 is still on the "young end" of getting your period. Lots of your friends this age probably don't have it yet, either. Also, you are a small, slim girl. Most of the girls who get their period at 10 or 11 are the larger, heavier ones.
You might want to ask your Mom how old she was when she got her period. Usually, girls take after their mothers when it comes to things like this. It might give you a better idea of what to expect.

Ask ur mum when she started hers, u may get it when she did because most girls do. The average age is 12-14 and u are 11 so u might get it between then. U are still under the average age.

well i started when i was 12 i rushed and couldnt wait and now im like omg i hate it.
dont worrie u can start anywhere from 11 to 15...
i promise once u start u will be like why did i rush it.

I started to get my period around 9 to 10 years old.But dn't wory it depends on the person's body.Ur body is still developing.There are girls who get their period at the age of 15 to 18 yr old.My mom got her period around 12 yr old.Dn't wory.But if u want to be sure u can go n visit ur doctor.

well i was 14 and 110 lbs. when I started.....i am also 5 ft 1 in. soo i would probably say since your so young, and petite that you might start at about 14 in a half to 15 years....but it all depends on your body.....i would ask your doctor. he or she would most likely have a time period and would DEFINETLY keep it confidential if you wanted them to.

Its genetics my dear, not hight or weight. You'll start when your body goes through puberty to the point of starting your period.
I didnt start until i was nearly 15, however, my close friend started when she was barely 11.

You will have your period the age you are now till 13 dont be in a rush. Periods/ menustration is not a joke so have fun being a kid while u can. Because when u start child hood is over welcome to nteen hood you have to mature up.
