I dont want to take her to the hospital because the already tolf my frinds that is a virus and there is nothing they can do... what can I do to stop the coughing and is there something outthere to stop the trowing up that is caused by couging.. thankss

First off, all I really care about is the child's health and safety. But, I'm fighting with my fiancee over the name of our baby. I don't want to, but she agreed before she got pregnant. Now she changed her mind. I wanted to name my kid this name for 10 years now and was really happy she agreed. What a let down. How should I deal w/ this?

im 30 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and over the past few weeks i developed a complete obsession with eating ice,i have to keep ice in my freezer at all times otherwise i freak out,i have to keep refilling my cup of ice as soon as it runs out,i just love to chew the ice all day and night(untill i go to bed),i think im obsessed,i dont have any kind of iron deficiancy or whatever,just an extreme love of ice....lol

I am having a baby girl due September 20th. I have NO idea what to name her. I've had a few names that I kind of liked, but nothing I fell in love with. People are always asking what her name is going to be, and for the sake of bonding, and for my state of mind I'd really love to pick out a name...how did you pick a name if you had no idea what you wanted? My Fi's nephew is absolutely adorable. He's 4 and I've known him since I was 2. Today, we were playing. He leaned over and told me, "I love you" I was so flattered. I don't have any small children in my family and this is my first glimpse at having neices or nephews

However, I wasn't sure if I should say, "I love you back" I mean, I've work in daycares and they tell us to be careful what we say. Like telling the kids, " I love you back." can translate from innocent into the possiblity of abuse in the eyes of a parent. I would never do that, abuse a child. But, I'm so fearful from days in daycares that I'm cautious even touching other peoples kids.

But this is my future nephew. Should I have said, I love you back. Now I'm thinking he thought I didn't like him. I don't want him to shy away from me. What should I do the next time he says it?

It makes me wonder how some parents can be so stupid and lock their child in a hot car while they shop, Or let a 3 year old play outside by themselves and the wonder why little billy slipped in to the pool and drowned or why little noah climbed inside the SUV to play hide n seek in scorching weather..... If you going to become a parent then be a parent and watch your children.. there are far too many accidents!!!! and the needless suffering of children due to mindless parents or guardians is intolerable.

I missed the last 2 "active pills" of my birth control and had sex during that time (I have been on birth control for 1.5 yrs continuously). Is there any chance of getting pregnant? I did start my period 3/4 days earlier than usual. I am just afraid to begin a new pack of pills on Sunday If there is a possibility.

Hello everyone. My name is Karen and I am a 26 year old mom to six beautiful girls ages 7, 6,4,2, and twins are 3 months old,and I am from Texas. I have been breastfeeding each child every day many times a day because after talking with my doctor he has suggested to me that it is fine to breastfeed my children until around ten or twelve years old. I found this interesting thus I have continued breastfeeding each of my children at home on my breast, also through pumping, and in public. I have found the health benefits for my daughters and I to be great, and I was wondering how many other people do something similar? The support team I have from doctors and my family is great. If my children don't want the milk from the breast, I pump and then pour it in a glass. I look forward to your thoughts and I hope to hear from you soon.

My daughters were small, and no slippers fit her until she was about 4 months old. I am 38 weeks 6 days pregnant and the ultrasound today said that my baby was 9 lbs (based on measuring him).. and his foot was 3 inches long.... That just seems big to me...??????

Im getting ready to have my first son in 2 weeks or less and I told my dad that I would give my son his name as a middle name (John) but a guy who was like a father to my babys daddy and me just died 4 days ago and he was suppose to be in the birthing room with me and he was going to be a like another grandpa to my son..
