probably not so much, as long as he isn't with her every day. it's not good for anyone in excess. However, 3 months old is a little extreme, tell him to back off. if need be, when he starts up...invent a diaper change...opps she's wet, we'll be right back. and try to divert the offense. you didn't say how your husband felt about it, he should be stepping up to your concerns. good luck to you.

if it was only once, and just rubbed a little the lip or gum. No not bad, but giving a baby a lot of lime, I'm not really sure if that is bad or good. You have to remember that our parents and in laws were raised on what we are now told are the worst things. But they are usually old home remedies that maybe his mom or grandmother used. And this is the way i look at it. It obviously can't be bad if that is the case, cuz he's here isn't he!
Your best bet for parenting is to listen to your parents, your in laws, and well basically your family. They have been there and done it. And obviously what they had did wasn't so bad, because you are alive and fine and so are they.

I don't see the harm in letting her suck on a lime for a few seconds. I know some parents would freak out over it, but I know many kids (including mine) who've sucked on a lime, lemon, pickle etc...made the cute funny faces that go along with it and it didn't bother them a bit...don't give the whole thing tho!

It's recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics that babies are not fed any solid foods until 6 months. Citrus fruits, in particular, should not be given until about a year.

Yes its bad, at 3 months old their stomachs cannot handle harsh citrus. Even at one year old the citrus fruits can act weird on their tummys

The citrus fruits are very acidic and could cause an upset belly to an infant.

yes, i wouldn't say it's good. you need to tell him not to, because your baby may have an allergic reaction.
