I am looking up stuff such as working as a medical transcriptionist, typist, etc...anything that will allow me to work at any hours of the day, so I can remain home with my children. Please advise with any ideas!

Hello, I have read that you can take over the counter Robitussin to help get pregnant, but there is a few different kind of Robitussin. Is there a certin one. And when should it be taken.... I have a 34 day cycle, so i should OV near the 29. DO i take it a few days befor i OV or start a week befor???? Hope someone can help....

I'm an 18 year old female who isn't exactly sexually active..well, i have been physically intimate with my boyfriend but there was no actual penetration. The thing is I've always had irregular periods (once in two months or once in 40-50 days) . I'm 16 weeks and I went 2 weeks without morning sickness and I thought I clear but then the last 2 weeks Ive been sick all day everyday and I cant seem to have a good day is this normal so people tell me its cause im pregnant with a girl is this true?

I went to confirm my pregnancy and the walk in doctor told me that he doesn't think my pregnancy is viable (because my first blood test showed a HCG level of 36). He told me I will definitely miscarry or that I'm having an ectopic pregnancy. He sent me for a vaginal ultrasound and the results showed that there was a gestational sac present but no yolk sac. At the time I was 4 weeks pregnant. My second blood test (2 days later) showed that my HCG level is 106. The walk-in doctor told me not to get my hopes up that this is unlikely viable. Can you see the yolk sac on a 4 week ultrasound? This doctor has convinced me that I will not continue this pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy. I'm going into my fifth week and have done nothing by worry! I always thought my first pregnancy would be filled with joy and anticipation. Instead I'm scared out of my mind.

He won't play w/ anything for more than 5 minutes, and he won't pay attention to the cartoons. He is not autistic or anything so what do I do? I'm going nuts, sometimes I need to clean dishes or do something other than trying to console him ALL DAY. Literally thats my whole day...trying to figure out how or what will get him to be content! There is a little girl, almost a year old, who came in contact with chicken pox, and they broke out on Monday. Her 3 year old cousin was around her before the spots broke out. The 3 year old came to my house on Sunday....can she carry them to my 9 month old? My daughter has not been near the little one that has them, just the 3 year old, and she has nothing yet. Just wondering if the 3 year old can carry the virus to my daughter. Keeping in mind that the spots were not out on the year old girl, when my daughter seen the 3 year old. Thanx

By accident I bought extra stregth tylenol, its 500mg each, if I have a headache could i take just one, and would be okay, or should i go out and buy a regular one. My daughter has been potty training for a couple of weeks and I'm not sure whether to continue or wait until later. She's 2 1/2. She does well most of the time with me taking her to the bathroom every 30 minutes or so, but if I don't take her to the bathroom she'll use her pull-ups or panties. She doesn't initiate trips to the bathroom. I don't want to take her every 30 minutes for the rest of her life. What should I do?

Hey everyone i am 4 months pregnant, and thinking of the new baby coming in November.

I have herpes, and take meds, I really dont want to breastfeed becasue i have this problem, even though they say i still can, i want the BEST for my baby so i would rather bottlefeed with the best formula!

Is it wrong to bottlefeed?? Cant the baby get the same nutrients??

I just dont want to risk my baby getting herpes!!!!

Also if i dont breastfeed where will the milk go??? will my boobs leak??

WHAT IS THE BEST BOTTLE FEEDNG FORMULA, AND BOTTLES??

Also what is this about boiling the pacifier in hot water before giving it to the baby???

My husband and I were watching the news and saw that there was a house fire about 20 miles from our home and the mom and the children got out but the dad died. My husband started talking to me about if that ever happened to us and he said, "If our house were on fire and I had to choose between you and our children I'd choose you. I'd definetely save you."

Now, maybe some women would be happy, but this angered me because our children are supposed to come first.

So I said, "are you out of your mind?"

and he said, "why? what would you do?"

and I said, "save our children! thats our job as their parents to protect them! are you insane? if you saved me and let our children die I'd never forgive you and Id probably just end up offing myself."

And he said, "wow. now I know where we stand."

Now he is angry with me. Am I wrong? Im upset with him because I feel parents should put the safety of their children first. Ugh. Advice please?!?!?!

im going crazy im about to lock myself in my room an let her cry it out rolling on the ground in the livingroom. She seems to cry and whine all day on and off for what? i don't understand what she's wanting. i feel horrible as a mother im about to buy earplugs. when she does this she seems so unhappy and it makes me feel sad, that she's crying this way? any advice on how to handle this? i try to keep my cool, but i have spanked her bottom for continueing to cry and raised my voice to her.i guess i need some parenting skills??

Does anyone have experience with Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes? My son's father's family has several with it and my 4 year old son is demonstrating some of the symtoms including bedwetting, weight loss, increased hunger and thirst...does anyone have experience with this? What were your child's symptoms and age? How did the testing work?

My boys, ages 6 and almost 5, have always only watched TV shows that have some value. Whether the value is educational, moral, or character-building, everything they watch, I feel good about.

But they are growing up and getting bored with Franklin and Curious George. They like things that are more exciting. They are attracted to shows like Batman and Power Rangers. I know I can't force them to watch preschool shows forever, so do you have any suggestions for quality shows that will interest older boys?

I am 9dpo....and it seems as if this wasnt our month...again. My hubby and i have been ttc for 5months now with no success...and it is starting to get really stressfull...
I feel fine, and have no symptoms, other than , i am always hungry, very tired, alleries are killing me , and for some reason, i am having a hard time wearing my contacts, which i have been wearing for 11yrs...
I just thought that if i was i would have so type of symptoms by now, AF isnt due till the 18th, and i am already getting depressed...
Anyone have any advice, of helpful hint/tips on how to stop thinking about it, of any expierience....

I have been smoking 6-8 ciggies a day and kick off with a few cans of beers whenever I finish work. I had a mild abdominal pain which i thought initially was my period tick. Somehow, I decided to take the preggie test and it came out positive. I am freaking out now. coz I have bought 2 sets of 4 tests which all came out positve. I am happily married, just stresses a few and there out of work. My husband is ultra thrilled and so do I. i have stopped my bad habits on both smoking and drinking now and wondering if all the ignorance over the weeks could harm my little one in my wombs. please tell me it`s o.k. i am freaking out. I went to the gynae and he showed how tiny my lil` one is and I worried if something could go wrong considering of my past lifestyle and habits...thanks in advance!

I cant remember kids of my generation being so wild as we see kids of todays .They sometimes make me exhausted by their manipulation and bad behaviour.I know they are only kids but i think it isnt normal

Do you think it migth be the colourant in the food that makes them so WILD ?

I got 11 cousins of ages of 9 months to 11 and they are all BRATS .

Even kids who arent spoilt are Naugthy and drive parents insane.

My daughter is 15 weeks old and can't sleep at night or nap in the day without being swaddled she's very wriggly or wakes herself up with a jolt. I have a couple questions.
