Lots of women have morning sickness well into the second trimester and many times, even into the third. I found that protein shakes really helped me feel better. They are a good way to get protein and level out your blood sugar without eating meat or eggs (too smelly).

There is no way to tell the sex of the baby based on the amount of morning sickness you are having compared to the morning sickness that someone else is having. My sister had a boy and was sick from conception to birth. I also had a boy and never threw up. However, you can sometimes tell the baby's sex based on the amount of morning sickness that YOU experience during other pregnancies. My mom was much sicker with her girls that with her boys.

no, that's not true. you can't really tell the sex by that. old wives tales, I tell ya. but some woman can experience morning sickness all the way to end of pregnancy. mine was on and off like yours till about 20 weeks. and I'm 29 weeks now. if you just eat a lot of small meals in a day, it really helps. I notice even if I let my tummy get too empty I get that sick feeling back, and then I eat and feel better. I hope this helps. good luck

As the doctors say every pregnancy is different. I am a mother of 2 and currently 33 weeks pregnant. With my first i never experienced morning sickness but I did with my second through out my second trimester and with this pregnancy I have experienced it off an on.

Morning sickness can last through your whole pregnancy. I had it the whole time i was pregnant with my son. And i am 26 weeks pregnant and still get it with my daughter. It really all depends on the person. But if you talk to your Doctor he can give you Medicane that is safe to take to help stop the morning sickness. That is what my doctor did to help me not have it as much. Good Luck!

I had morning sickness until 15/16 weeks. Some women have it throughout their pregnancy :( I've heard that it affects women with girls more too, but I'm not sure what I'm having. My sister had it until about five months and she had a boy...If it gets really bad, go and see your doctor. They can help and there are homeopathic remedies too. I hope it clears up for you soon.

Not sure about the sex of your child but I did have morning sickness up until the day I delivered my son. So yes this is normal I just pray you don't have to go through it everyday all day like I did.

Sometimes women get more morning sickness when they are pregnant with girls because of the female hormones misx with the mother's, but that is not true for everyone. I had the same amount of morning sickness with my son as I did with my daughter (Very little). My boss had a son and she was sick until she reached 7 months.

No, not necessarily. I had a girl and I never had morning sickness. Some people get a reprieve during the 2nd trimester and some people are sick throughout their whole pregnancy.

People are sick at different times in thier pregnancy. If you are nauseaous you can try to eat some saltine crackers. I dont know if that means you are pregnant with a girl...but with my son I had no sickness at all so maybe so!!
