with my step son & my kids !!! I have a 6 & 2 yr old & 4mth baby.. my step son( 11yrs) will be spending the rest of the summer with us he got home past friday.. My daugther(6ys) is attending summer school 1/2 a day she learns & other 1/ 2 they do activities.. The problem is every nigth my step son wants to sleep with my 2yr son on his bed ( my son & dauther sleep in same room diferent beds) Step son has his own room.. The problem is that my step son doesn't obey rules I send them to sleep & as soon as I get to my room I hear laughs & screams coming from my son & my step-son .. My daugther wakes up at 6:45 am to get ready fro school she eats breakfast @ home.. Monday, Yesteraday & today i had trouble waking her up because of the noise & all going on on the room she doesn't sleep until late, my step-son doesn't understand that she needs to sleep early & we all wake up early.. My hubby doesn't want to tell him anything because he is never with us so he feels that he can't just call his

I have been TTC and am on clomid. I took my OPK this morning and its positive. I really want to get pregnant this cycle as clomid makes me so moody. Any suggestions? I know that I should BD tonight and tomorrow night but does anyone have any suggestions/tips that worked for them?

i just got a job outside the home and i hired a babysitter, mind you my son is only 10 1/2 months old, and everytime he sees her he starts balling. i feel so bad about leaving him here with her because hes used to being with me. and we need the extra money right now because we just did some remodeling to our house other wise i wouldnt be working. my husband and i both want someone to be home with him and not hire someone to watch him. what should i do?

i am nearly 5 weeks pregnant and i am suffering from nausea i only get it every so often today i had it a little this morning then in the early afternoon then at about 4ish i felt terrible is this normal that is comes and goes. Also my tummy is rock solid.

Is there any way you can get pregnant and be sure youre going to have what you want? a boy or a girl I mean. Iv'e heard of using the chinese calendar but does it work? and how do I go about using the calendar and even getting one. Has anyone here ever gone into preterm labor with no explanation, or known anyone who has? On Thursday June 7, my best friend's water broke, at only 23 weeks. She went to the hospital immediatley and was having bad contractions, she started losing a lot of blood and they said she would die if they didn't get the baby out now (due to blood loss). They delivered the baby c-section, and got her fixed, the baby just died yesterday morning and they still can't explain to her why she went into labor. She has had a great pregnancy, no morning sickness, colds, nothing. She is 20 years old, almost 21 and her and her husband had planned this baby after they bought their first house. She was very healthy.
Anything would help to offer to her as a suggestion as to what could have happened, it is greatly appreciated. Thank you SO much. This is a very hard time for all of us.

I started my period May 24,2007 ended May 29 had unprotected sex june 7 and june 10. Could i be pregnant? I don't know when ovoulation is or anything wen should i take the test, how can i know as soon as posible if im pregnant? It is with my boyfriend that i have been with way over a year.

Ok....My last period was May 15-20th and I have not had mine for this month....I am not having any cramps or anything and I am being to get scared. I have been working a lot here recently and getting over stressed with my training for manager and having to get trained in only a few days could this make me not have my period yet?

I'll start by saying, I'm going to be asking my Dr. at my next appt...I'm just looking for anyone with a similiar issue.

I'm having pains in just one of my legs, especially at night and I've had a hard time standing up after laying down or sitting for a long period of time. I got out of bed the other day and immediatly my leg gave out and I fell. (Luckily my Great Dane has an enormous bed right there and I fell into that!) It almost feels like I pulled a muscle but it's not getting any better. I can't sit indian style anymore or even on any floor for that matter.

Anyone else have a similiar issue during pregnancy?

The evaluators were here earlier evaluating my 33 month old son and said he didn't qualify. His expressive speech was at 24 months with everything else (gross motor, cognitive, receptive, fine motor, self-help, and social) was all at above 39 months. He gets very bored after he masters things, but what can I do to increase his verbal skills? He got a computer game, played it once with me, then played it all by himself after that. He rarely wants my help. I would just like him to talk more. Any ideas? Do you have any ideas on games or toys that would be good for him? He turns three in August.

Ok.. so i watched the movie "Jersey Girl" with ben affleck and Jennifer lopez... in the movie she dies during child birth due to a anyurism in her brain, a blod clot that busted from her pushing... THIS SCARED ME TO DEATH.. im 23 weeks pregnant... my question is... does that really happen these days? Do women die during child birth??or is that in the past because they have much more medical expertise now..? no jokes pleas... im really scared of labor.

I noticed a recent questioner asking for opinions about "Melena" for a girl. Most of those who answered thought it was a pretty name. But this is one of those times when an unusual name is actually a real word, and unfortunately the meaning is far from pretty.

I don't wish to offend anyone, but there's really no polite way to phrase this. In medical terminology, the word "melena" essentially means dark stools due to the presence of blood. All medical personnel are familiar with this -- it's very commonly used and not at all obscure. It would definitely raise some eyebrows in the doctor's office or emergency room, that's for sure, if a child with that name came in for treatment. And that's probably the least of the problems she'd have with the name.

The question was already in voting so I did not have the opportunity to point this out directly. I'm hoping that person, plus any others who are considering the name, see this before burdening a sweet little girl with it.

i said i was going to name my son sebashton

all most everyone on this website bugged out! Some of the comments were that is it uneducated and that I'm trying to make up a trendy new spelling!

I found this name in a Baby name book from 1982 that my mother gave me!

I also like the name in the first place because it is a combination of two of my friends that died in A car accident in high scool. Their names were Seb and Ashton. I thought it was cute that the name had both their names in it!


Is it really that weird of a name/spelling!? Everyone is saying that he will get made fun of...? I knew a boy named Sebastien and he didn't get made fun of will it really be that big of a difference. Plus, kids don't get made fun of for their names they get made fun of for being annoying, fat, ugly etc. NOT because of their names if a kids name is.

Anyway i want to know more opinions on the name Sebashton!

My husband and I are trying to have another baby. My period started at May 30th and ended on June 4th. Today is June 12th and I am feeling slight cramping and have a really funny feeling. Could that be a sign of being pregnant? I took a blood test yesterday and it came back negitive. Im thinking it could of been too early. Is this a EARLY sign???
