Is there any way you can get pregnant and be sure youre going to have what you want? a boy or a girl I mean. Iv'e heard of using the chinese calendar but does it work? and how do I go about using the calendar and even getting one. Is anyone familiar with what I'm talking about or is this not making any sense?

I'm having a boy and the calendar said that I would have a girl. I don't think that there is any real fool proof way but I did hear some story that looks to be holding true for me anyways but it could be coincidence I mean you have a 50% of having the story work for you or not.

Anyways, boy sperms are faster than girls but aren't as strong as girl swimmers. So they say if you want a boy have sex on or a day after you ovulate that way only the boys really make it to the egg because they are faster. If you want a girl have sex a about a day or two earlier than you ovulate because they are slower they will be up there by the egg and are stronger to penerate the egg before the boy sperms. But that's the story don't know how true it is other than I had sex the day I ovulated and it's a boy so go figure.

Chinese calendar didn't work for me, or anyone else I know.

Chinese calendar did not work for me. Said I would have a girl (as did the doctor who did my ultra sound) and out came a baby boy! Once your baby is born it won't matter if it is a boy or a girl. You will love it no matter what!

All of the calendars, positions, and methods that you can read about to choose the gender of your baby work approximately 50% of the time. You'll have half the people swearing they work and half saying they don't. In other words, they are all urban legends / old wive's tales.

I always wanted a baby boy, but I have all girls and I'm thrilled. You'll love whatever you have and you won't be able to imagine not having them.

Chinese calendar did not work for me either. But I was lucky and got what I wanted, a little boy...

You can find those Chinese calendars on the web. I've had friends that it worked for, but it didn't work for me. What worked for me was the Shettles method. (See link to his book on Amazon.) Basically you have to time when you have sex (close to ovulation for boy, a few days prior for a girl). But nothing is foolproof.

I think it might but there would be no guarantees. But I do think that chinese calender does work because I'm having a boy and that's what it said I would have. Good Luck tho

the sex of your baby is determined by the acidity level in your body. the girl sperm do better in an acidic endearment and the boy sperm do better in a basic endearment. I just googled trying to conceive a boy. Good Luck

here you go, it's more for entertainment value but for what its worth it has been correct each time with my 4 kids. I wouldn;t take it as exact science though. Have fun with it.
