I just wanted to say thank you! to everyone that answered my questions during this pregnancy. I really appreciated it and I finally made it! This morning at 835am, my son Bowen Alexander Brucks was born. He was 6 lbs 9 oz and he is 21 in long. Thank You so much and Good Luck to all the pregnant moms patiently waiting.

I am a week late on my period. Im getting all the cramps and stuff like if I am gonna start my period but it just wont come down! I already have three kids so I really dont wanna lose my sanity by having another child but anyway, has anyone ever experienced this at the early stages of pregnancy? My body feels strange for some reason and I have been VERY sentimental.

I just got back from the doctors my PT there was negative too but she wanted me to wait another two weeks..To allow my body to get preg and to stay abstenant. Is it true that you have to wait that long to allow your body to do what it is doing and not have sex.... She also prescribed me pre-natal pills too... Advice, is being abstanent for 2 weeks really going to help determine if you are preg?

I just had a baby 2 & 1/2 months ago, and I immediately started back on the birth control pill. But I went to the doctor's today because my stomach felt sort of odd, and I was bleeding alot. Hi, this question is strange sorry.
My son has a weird fixation with his nipples, he is four years old. I don't know if nursing him until he was two has anything to do with this or not. He has been dong this for about two months now, he just won't stop touching them. If I keep him busy with other things, reading, drawing, etc.. he seems to stop until he gets bored again. I tell him to stop and he thinks I am mad, I just don'tunderstand it.

Has anyone else gone through this? Is it a faze? I feel frustrated, and very worried.

I am looking for a moses basket that in inexpensive and is practical. I have tried to look but all I have found are baskets that you can not carry the baby in. I need something that i can carry my baby in an dthat is not going to break my pocket. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I love the names Ava, Neve, and Anais, but I'm having a little trouble with them.

- Ava is way too overused.
- I like the idea of Neve but it seems like the pronunciation of it isn't quite right.
- Anais (an-AY) is pretty to look at but the pronunciation is a little boring to me. It reminds me too much of Renee, Janae, and the rest of the names that end in AY.
- Anne & Eve/Eva are pretty as well, but a little too plain for me.

Here is a list of names that I am trying to decide on. Please tell me if some are too odd - after looking at so many names they kind of lose their effect a little. Feel free to play around with letters or add names...

Do any other mums (or dads) get frustrated when parents take their kids to soft plays but don't supervise them. I'm not saying my girls (2 and 4 are perfect) but they know generally what is acceptable. One always comes home in tears as some other kid has done something to upset them - today - a boy throwing playballs at their faces at close range! Some mums are oblivious or don't seem to care!

My son is 13 months. I still breastfeed once in the morning when he wakes up, and he gets bottle of whole milk (usually 6 oz) before his naps and before bedtime. 2-3 bottles a day. He also eats normal meals, breakfast lunch and dinner. Still on baby food, and has snacks (crackers and such). When I told the lady at my WIC appointment she acted very weird and -told- me that a one year old should not be usuing the bottle anymore and was very awkward that Im still breastfeeding. I don't understand this stigma. No one I know breastfed past 6 months, if the breastfed at all. Why is it that it is being pushed that breastfeeding is a 'no-no' past a certain age. It is a proven fact that the longer a child is breastfed the more benfits he has, hell most major leage athletes were breastfed for awhile and look how great they turned out (micheal jordan was breastfed until he was 3 1/2!) Why do people think im weird for still breastfeeding, and why is a bottle for a one year old BABY a problem????

ok so a friend of mine who wants to have a baby
has told me that her ovulation date was on june 10th forsure
and she had intercourse during that time.. and now she says that the bottom of her vagina.. like right under the lip part.. is a little firm and seems heavier.. and tighter.. could this have anything to do with conceiving? has anyone experienced it before?
