THEY WANT TO SEE A PAYSTUB. IT HAS TO BE RECENT SO A TAX RETURN FROM LAST YEAR WILL NOT WORK. THEY LIKE TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE BRINGING IN NOW AS OPPOSED TO LAST DECEMEBER. BRING YOUR LAST PAYSTUB AND IF YOU DON'T WORK THEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. GOOD LUCK!

Sorry I can't help you. I have a job and never wanted to suck off of the system. I also live in Texas and would rather have you on medicaid than an illegal. You are legal right?

I dont live in Texas, but most places it is specifically the last how ever many weeks' pay stubs. They want to know what you make NOW, not last year. Here it is 8 weeks.

When I applied, they needed the last 4 consecutive pay check stubs. You can always can them and ask them before your interview so you will know for sure.

Usually they want recent income proof. When I applied they wanted the income for the month that I was applying for.

If you don't have any pay stubs or other proof of income then they should be able to use it. They just have to do the math.

Yeah that should be fine if you don't have pay stubs or bank sheet for direct deposit. Some times they don't make you show them proof they just believe what you say.

no, if you are working now they will need pay check stubs...... your tax return is from last yr. They are very strict on who gets medicaid and who does not....

I think it should be good enough. It IS proof of income. As long as you don't make too much, medicaid should approve you.
GOOD LUCK

They usually want a paycheck stub. That will show them how much you make each pay period and give them the info they need for your case.
