Can I take a pregnancy test a week after my period just finished? Or am I suppost to wait until it's closer to my next period? Will I still get the same results if I take it now?

Ummmmmmmmm no. if you just got off your period it will not show the accurate result. wait until your missed period to take a test. good luck.

You should wait. You will probably ovulate about 2 weeks after your period, so if you take the test one week after you won't be pregnant yet. I would wait and take the test when your period is due if you don't start. I think some test can tell you 5 days early, but if you are trying to conceive then you will be eating right, etc. so you might as well wait until you are actually late to take the test. You'll get more accurate results.

If your period just finished a week ago, wait another couple of weeks for the hormones to build up if you did get pregnant. They don't start producing until around 2 weeks after you become pregnant, around the time you should start your next cycle.

If you take a test now chances are it will be negative. You take it after a missed period. So if you miss your next one, then take a test.
